Amanda,you have LG8138 a Great phone! i took out my sim from the New LG8380 compaired all LG phones side by side with my 8138 & 8110. I called 3 to complain about the service Beleive me when i say I click on "Triangle key" and both programs were different under 3 service. But LG is different E.g send a message - New 8380 takes longer to correct message before you send. I'm not a programer but they have changed the internal workings on 8380 for the worse. But you will notice the difference when you buy one. I guess in changing the camera location everything else inside is changed. Not impressed!!!! I may go back to using 8138 (and through this 8380 in the draw). Its funny When you change staff they need to change something even if its worse.

Hey Graham, you realise that downloading mp3s is set by ur service provider rather than the phone. Also, if you have an mp3 player, you'd have to get mp3s somehow anyway, this just gives you the option of using the service provider to get the mp3s. I currently have the 8138, and my videos last as long as my memory does.. so I don't really know what your talking about. I'm pretty sure you just need to set it to go longer.
I guess I'm pretty happy with my phone, but I can't see that many things wrong with this phone. I think you need to just learn to use it better..
And calling alot.. doesn't particularly mean your a good phone critic..

If your a LG user You know! This phone is Different ( LG- Why change something that is Nearly perfect) The older 2005 LG mobile are nearlt perfect. “””” This Phone is worse!!!!!!! LG must have employed a new programer because the LG guts/Internal formate are different. They haven't improved things, Its worse I mean "How the user uses ther phone “ e.g. sending messages is worse, Converting currency is stupid and they have left out US currency. Taking photos are complicated and worse,(((2005 phones older style is simply aim and click a much better quality picture)) The Video could be better on all LG Phones just going for 20 seconds. And to download real ringtones for 20 seconds for $5 is a rip off. To call this a MP3 player for 20 seconds of music is absolutly Not commonsence I've had this phone for 1 week - What do I like about this phone? thinking , ? ok the colour is nice, speakers are great. DEAR LG - go back to the old format! I use this phone 24/7 for Business & plesure I Spent $12,000 in 2004/5 financial year so I Know. gO Back to LGU8330 Internal formate, take LGU8380 Speakers & the new LGM4330 External Shape of the Porsche phone and your on your way to Perfection.

I love this phone. It's my first flip phone, and I loved it at first sight. The colour is beautiful, and it's nice a generally nice phone. It's annoying I can't change themes though. I can't work out how to put mp3's on, so if anyone has tips... The camera is positioned well (better then where it was on the other LG phones), but it's a little pixilated for me. Otherwise, I love it.

I recently got the Lg U8380 and as a 16 year old I find it very useful. I would of gone and bought an Mp3 player but it has one and a digital camera but it has one too. It is greta technology and it has a slot for expandable memory. The red is a very gorgeous colour and it is a very sexy design. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that you can not change the colour of the handset theme you can either have normal or disco that was a bummer because I dont like either. But overall thumbs up.

I use to own LG8180 & LG8210. LG's because i like the LG guts for business,I now own LG8380 ordering over the phone, "I thought your suppose to improve things" I use the Unit converter to convert US Dollars TO EUROES etc - "Its worse" I use world time Its ok. Images seem worse! Anyway i'm stuck with it for 24 months - LG mobiles Board - Don't take it for granted that things are better because its New. Keep improving things

Hi i recently got this fone and very pleased ,phone functions are great pix are very clear from 1.3 megapixel camera & video camcorder better quality than lg U8138!.Luv the the large bright 262k TFT colour screens & the rest of the features! GET IT its worth its value ($429)AUS at 3 shops.NOTE video calls can be a little un clear(fussy) at times. another thing the cam flash is alsome works brilliantly better than most other phones & no probs with this lg U8380.

I recently just purchased my phone and i would say is one of the best phones i have ever had, it does things i could not imagine, it is really a great phone by LG and hope they just keep getting better.

Does this phone have curency Unit converter and World time in tools? I've ordered this phone without finding this out. grrrr! But i do like the new LGM4330 looks like F1 racing car with "Breathanalyzer sensor" & "Remote contoll" what next!

i have one of this. is a better mobile, very expensive, but i have a problem, i don't know how to download in my computer, videos and pictures saved in mobilephone.
