even though this is on 3 in australia the outright price is 350 dollars which is the cheapest high-tech phone i mean look at v3 600 dollars and only 5mb with no recording video i can get a way better phone with video recording and flip for 199 dollars whats with that

This is phone has been available here in Denmark by 3 network since 2 months with two colors, silver and black.

Looks great. How many organiser entries does it permit? What is the freq range for MP3s? Does it allow distribution lists for SMS? Does the alarm work when phone is off? Video capture possible? what frame rate? Can we record conversations during a call?

just been in the "superdrug"store an seen the u880 its the best "lg"has made but its not going to get"lg" a good name because its only being released on the "3"network which is stupid if "lg"wants to get its phones recognized with the public they should let all the other networks release this mobile then there phones will get a good name

Yes it is available in australia but from what i have seen only the silver is available at the moment the pink and the two black versions i have not seen in any local 3 stores, i am thinking aboutybuying this handset and if u do by it today can you please answer some of the questions i posted previously because i am seriously considering this phone

i was wondering because i had an lg u8138 before and i loved the phone but i sold it for three reasons, does the u880;
1.)support sending and reciving thru bluetooth(not only to headsets but toi other phones.)
2.) is there expandable memory and if this is t-flash wat is the biggest mem card size available at the moment in australia
3.) can u use mp3's as message /alert tones because i have a ringtone that i like to use as my msg tone and this is a major feature for me

its a good mobile phone but thats brand not make a good feel and need to change brand and symbol to anothet like toyota and lexus

here is sweden they write next to it (best in test) i am not sure about their measures ...is the camers a rotating one?i didnt like the video cals before from LG former phones its clours wern´t bright like if they were from a 70´s film!another minus is the batary life in comparison with SE

This phone looks impressive. The only downfall of it to me is the 4 hour maximum talk/usage time.

I read about the guy with his new Nudie-jeans, if you lived here in sweden and own a sony ericsson you would have lots of problems to press down your mobile in your nudie-thight-pockets! (sweden rocks!) this phone is smaller than most of all!
