I'm finding the 1080p rumors hard to believe - Sony might have abandoned 4K (they seem to abandon everything in NA), but LG was one of the early NA adopters of QHD screens, and IIRC they were only behind Oppo's Find series. LG will likely at least try to attempt to maintain spec parity with Samsung, especially after the G5 release debacle.
5.5" rumors seem to be a lot more plausible, though, despite having come from the same source. 6GB RAM is... iffy, but I could see it. What everyone cares about is battery, and I'm too hopeful to think critically about that. It'll probably happen, the V10 was ruggedized which makes for a thicker phone, and it sold well, so maybe LG is getting it's head out of its butt and abandoning the thinness war
jan and jessy, 03 Aug 20165.5 inch full HD !!! Is this ture??? I cannot believe that,,no,
Rumors sound great! 1080p display, 4000mAh battery. Screen time will be so good and I swear I can't see a difference between 1080p and 2k on phones anyway. If the battery is removable I'm sold. I'd like to see a great DAC like the v10 and rugged design. I can't wait!
5.5 inch full HD !!!
Is this ture???
I cannot believe that,,
What about the second, wide angle camera on the back? I realy like the back wide angle camera, and would love it on the V20. The front wide angle camera is realy pointless in my opinion.
Do not understood your cellular phone improves sound calls ? if yes to what ?
Do not understandable phone calls can be recorded at a level HI FI 9600HZ + 24BIT?
Is your phone improves listening on radio stations sound level ? if yes to what ?
unbelievable really it has 4000 battery? and 20 MP camera?
if they make it real it sells good without doubt ...
also i will buy v20 only if has a 4000 battery and 20 MP camera
V20 With two or dual stereo speakers every which 2 till 3 Watts :
Ready to any adventure.
Hopefully it's Dual SIM with a 1080p display with a user replaceable 4,000 mAh battery. With aggressive battery management software. That will mean two-day battery life. Easy. Much needed relief.
69MLT69, 03 Aug 2016I'm placing my bet right now: this phone will not have a 4000mAh battery.Yah its very unlikely for LG to put that huge battery but lets just hope it does
I'm placing my bet right now: this phone will not have a 4000mAh battery.
I hope V20 would have the SD821 SoC instead & dual stereo botton firing speakers, or top & bottom speakers like that of HTC 10. With audio & image to match each other, unlike my V10.
xTREAMER, 02 Aug 2016what war?! lol...those day's there's no war between brands...even Sammy and Aiple war is over.... moreHi
Only reason for 4K display: "Vr"
About screen resolution: yes! 2K!? No! Even FHD display is enough. I know Lg is unassuming brand in every product & with equitable price tag.
P, 02 Aug 2016If they remove that silly upper second screen and they stick to the 4000 mAh battery, then thi... moreThat silly upper 2nd screen is the key feature of V10 its better than edge display of samsung edge phones has more functionality they must not remove it
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2016The leaked specs, despite having a lower res screen, tells me that they're indeed optimizing f... moreNo its not smart step its bad step QHD is minimum for vr and vr is the future anything less will make the experience crappy. Here what I want
5.5-5.7onch QHD screen
Dual cameras both front and back or atleast back
No modular desing
Removable battery with removable back cover I dont care about premium feeling of metal I want the grippy rubber back of V10
Daydream VR compatible since android7.0 is already confirmed
Fingerprint scanner on power button or in screen
Volume buttons on back can also live with them on side but back is better imo
4000mah battery with great battery life
Heart rate scannner (not necessary)
No modular design (again)
And better screen dont care about amoled or lcd just screen should be good with good colors and a lot brighter than G5 screen with better viewing angles and better sunlight legibility
With these specs V20 is going to destroy every other device on market this is LG's last hope they must not fail
