You can find last rumor about V30 on PhoneArena that says that V30 will perhaps have f/1.6. I hope it will be like that or otherwise it wont be able to compare to new dual camera on Note 8, with its 2 year old setup.

It ill have smaller sensor and less pixels than V20. The pixel size remains the same (1.12 µm), so there is no benefit from the lower resolution.
LG, Please 6.2'' is just too LONG for a phone. Try and make LG V30, 5.2'' or 5.7'' max
TY, 30 Jul 2017LG V20 16+8 MP...LG V30 13+13 MP...will V30 13 MP better then V20 16 MP...??? How...???More pixels and a small sensor means less light on each one. Digital noise increases and in addition you're left with decreasing detail. This gets worse as the light dims. That's why larger digital cameras with 4/3 or full frame sensors do much better in low light.
LG V20 16+8 MP...LG V30 13+13 MP...will V30 13 MP better then V20 16 MP...??? How...???
thank you lg, just stick with the basics and make a stock android, bezel-less display phone, with a good fingerprint sensor placement and good battery life
screw the haters, just keep it simple
if the proposed upcoming LG V30 is simply a larger LG G6 .....with one or two "added" features ..... then I wish you the best LG. I hope your return is what you expected.... and more. But, I can say with almost 100% certainty .....I'm not interested in a larger LG G6 with one or two different features.
I am very happy with the G5 but I find the screen 5.3 to be too small coming from Note 3. Hope LGV30 will come out with 6+ inch screen. Note 8 apparently will be offered with 6.3 inches with 2 cams (one main feature I love with LG G5) and sure will be comparing V30 and the Note 8. I'll probably go back to Samsung if V30 will not offer 6+ inch screen.
Raj, 23 Jul 2017Latest rumour Lg v30 is 5.7 inches screen onlyWhere exactly did you hear that? Every rumor I see since June has no confirmed screen size or says it will be 6.0"
Raj, 23 Jul 2017Latest rumour Lg v30 is 5.7 inches screen onlyNoway my dear, 5.7" now is only for G-series but V-series will be bigger..
Many rumors said the screen will be 6.2" and this size is so logic for V-series after 5.7" for G6
MeMyselfandI, 20 Jul 2017I will buy LG when they will make phones with OLED, AMOLED or Super AMOLED display. LCD screen... moreCurrently LCD screens are getting better with blacker blacks, which boosts the colour accuracy and vibrant. Use your brains dude.
If leaked dimentions of this phablet is correct (151×75×7.5) so, how come it will support 6.2 inch or even 6 inch and how support 18:9 ratio??
Note: 6.2" =157.5mm
I will buy LG when they will make phones with OLED, AMOLED or Super AMOLED display. LCD screens are old and outdated. The phones with LCD screens may have the best specifications but asl long as they are LCD, they are not worth buying.
To, LG phone user.
Can anyone tell me how good LG with providing software updates ?
I was waiting for OP5 but i was very disappointed, then i thought about buying S8+ but price different is huge between India and US, they are simply fooling indian customers.
Now my eyes stuck on this beauty, this phone have everything i want specially larger screen size, so i'd love to buy this and i am in urgent need but still willing to wait for LG V30.
My main concern is Quality and Software update, as i never used LG phone before.
The v20 was well known for its exceptional (wired) audio quality for a smartphone, enough to keep some audiophiles happy to use the v20 as their mobile listening device. It would be great if they could keep/or improve the audio aspect of this device as that would remove the need for some of us to carry around an external music playing device. If the speculations about the v30's specs come out as true, then this would be the only phone in the market that can package quality audio and a satisfying smartphone experience in one device. However, I do worry about how long the battery life may be for the v30, as some claim that it will have a new dual-screen and the supposedly more efficient snapdragon 835 might encourage the designers to opt for a smaller battery to make the phone thinner.
Anyways, we'll find out in September
