Is this phone recommended for someone who won't be using the TV feature? I really like it but feel like I will be paying for features I wont use. Also is the speed fast when reading off a full 4gb card?

Its look more like a toy rather than a mobile phone. I would like it more if it transforms like Megatron!

Looks like a sharp phone. As stated before it could use more features though.
Video Telephonie, the Mega pixel for the camera could be improved too.

forgot a few things things:
1) lg u900 has built in hands free while the v9000 lacks that.
2) i think the lg v9000 costs around $250 while the lg u900 costs around $230 (you might want to do some more research if you want to be dead accurate)
3) a more recent picture of the lg u900 phone can be found at:
http://www.hwsw.hu/kepek/hirek.../lg_u900.jpg (no, its not the v9000... you'll notice if you observe more carefully)
4) the lg v9000 only comes in silver while the lg u900 comes in black aswell.
5) hope the iformation helped you
6) i am only doing this just to let everyone know that there are similar phones out there that are better and have more features without people having to be ripped off.

hmmm... seems like it closely resembles the lg u900. is it just me or are they slightly similar? take a look for yourself and post your opinion. the only difference is that the lg u900 has more features and has the intenna built into it. also they've switched the TV button to an OK button which makes it look better. another difference is that the LG U900 has a DVB-H TV receiver while the LG V9000 uses the T-DMB.
and according to Wikipedia: Like DAB, T-DMB is made for transmissions on radio frequency bands band III (VHF) and L (UHF), mainly for terrestrial and satellite, respectively. Because the United States has so far failed to allocate these two bands as most of the rest of the world has, DMB is still unavailable there (i think that means that the tv would be of no use for the US). BUT the LG U900 works differently so i think it would be ok there. if there is anything wrong with whats above feel free to correct it.
