The LG X power is now up for grabs in the UK, in SIM-free and unlocked form. Currently only one online retailer seems to have it in stock, and that is Unlocked Mobiles. This is where you can purchase the X power for £199.98 with next day delivery in the UK.
Undoubtedly, the phone will soon be available from other companies too. The X power was announced at the end of May in Ukraine, where it was going to be priced at around $200 or €180. So you are paying more for it if you're in the UK (its price in pounds translates into approximately €239), but that's not out of the ordinary in the mobile world.
The X power's main claim to fame is its big 4,100 mAh battery. This is paired with mid-range specs otherwise - a 5.3-inch 720p touchscreen, a 13 MP main camera, a 5 MP selfie cam, the MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
It's a good sized battery and good screen size, but mediatek, no thanks and only 720p on 5+ inches. But you can get a G4 plus with 617 and better FHD screen, better camera and so for about the same, which still rocks a 3000 mAh battery.
That because it is a cheap ugly phone at €180. With that specs it is practically a bargain.
