Buy micromax a56 if and only if you want to buy a big screen and higher resolution screen(171 ppi). otherwise a52 is better in all features compare to a56. Angry bird ,temple run not working properly in a56 but a52 does its work fine.

Also does anyone have a56 in black or is it available for that matter ? All websites are offering only in blue color. Is black out of stock or the default itself is blue ?

Very good phone for budget androiders. Has adreno 200 gpu plays fruit ninja, angry birds,racing moto without any lag. Has 138 MB internal memory initially, except a few apps all apps can be transferred to sd card using app2sd. Supports majority of apps on google play store. The touch is super-responsive and works like a charm.
Problems are:
Cannot play full length 720p movies without audio lag.
Camera not good in low light and good only for close up shots. Video recording in stock app upto 16 FPS in 3GP format.
Earpiece volume not very good but manageable.

guys a56 is vry gud ph.m using it.it can play hd games vry easily.flash is there,so dnt worry.it has proximity too.looks n screen quality is awesome.just go 4 it.its like any 10000 rs ph.

guys please dont buy this phone its just crap only looks are good of a56 its its GB 2.3.5 many features not available compare to a52 which is awsome in all field i used for one day and sold it out to buy a52 .....fo for a52 which is GB 2.3.6 1ghz and very handy to use and many features...

some of the info. are wrong like it has internal storage of 160 mb and it has video recording option at 24fps

If not uninstall all the apps which have been installed in phone memory, and if you want install it in SD Card. You can use APP 2 SD for this purpose. You can change the install location to SD card permanently using the ADB shell to SD card so that you wont have this issue again in future.

i'll recommend idea id 918 which is better than this and its also dual sim and unlocked can be used with any network sim card and it is from better co. alcatel lucent. and also cheaper than this phone with better specs and rooting and custom roms for idea id 918 is available easily on internet as it used all over the world.
