there you goDude, open source software means.. Anyone can reprogram the software code other than the main developer team..android is an open source
Windows phone n apple IOS are closed source software only the developer can reprogram the codes..
Its more secure than open source software platforms.

daily driver and i dont have a single problem that this people here ae speaking about.I folowed instructions how to setup the phone and thats it...no restarts...no overheating..no app crash nothing...iris scanner works fine even my memory card works fine.
My friend buy yourself laggy Android or Locked UP iOS.

Google made billions from android so far.
Lumia 950 and 950XL does not work with Verizon, I actually had to return my Lumia 950 after two weeks to Microsoft store (online). Verizon and Microsoft need to sitdown and negociate.

rollin, 26 Jan 2016Stop trolling, they have those apps in the Windows Store Whats the use?. You cannot take backup of the installed apps to the memory card or download the windows app setup files. Android is better in this regard. Symbian is also ok.
micro950, 28 Jan 2016Is 950xl supports both white and black themes as were on win 8.1 phones?Yes it does support and I think it is one of the better features.. Helps using phone in dark on bed ☺

This is great device. Had it for a week and i have no regrets. Love Office on the go and battery life is seemingly better than my 1520. Can get warm at times under heavy load but this is more of an OS issue than hardware failing to handle the pressure as there are some apps that run a loop even when closed. But this is also rare. If only Microsoft stepped up their marketing though.
Is 950xl supports both white and black themes as were on win 8.1 phones?
rollin, 26 Jan 2016Stop trolling, they have those apps in the Windows Store Well, let us acknowledge that its not on microsoft but on developers to get the apps updated on windows 10 mobile. As a user of lumia 950 xl am happy with the phone itself (some UI needs polishing but think the OS is headed in right direction).
Let us do our bit as users and ask these developers (amazon, ebay, WhatsApp, Linkedin, Autotrader etc on twitter). I did my bit yesterday. It will atleast make the devs aware of need and hopefully will helo them see economic value in updating the app.
this is the best phone. anything exist in this phone. I want to say: it is best. that s it
