my son has set a password but now has 4got what it is -is there a way to clear this setting.. thanks rob

Hey Calin, first backup your data from Outlook exporting all Personal folder (including subdirectories) into a .pst file. Then delete all contacts from Outlook. ActiveSync (I suppose you intalled it for XP; for Windows 7 is not needed) will synch...
