Been using my A701 for just over a week, running both TomTom & Memory Map without any problems. Excellent Phone/PDA. Just one issue with the stylus, the first broke in the unit, but managed to claw it out, so be careful!! It's not robust and is prone to break. Would have prefered it on top as well, I am looking for an alternative stylus that fits the unit.

I'd be interested in a comparison of the Mio A701 and the E-Ten G500. They are quite similar. The main differences as far as I can tell are that the G500 has voice command software, quad-band, and TMC function, but a mini-SD slot rather than SD. Does anyone know if this mini-SD is sdio capable for adding WIFI? The mio SD slot is SDIO.

On paper, then, the E-Ten looks like it offers a bit more, but I'd have to see a complete review of both to be sure.

Hi congrats on your new phone! I was wondering, my car has bluetooth built in for handsfree voice dialing, without voice dialing on the phone, will the cars voice dialing still work? Thanks in advance.

got mine on sat 11 march. put TomTom 5 on it, works like a charm, only drawback apart from no wifi , is no voice dialing. i also think the stylus is a bit weak, other than that its an exelent peice of hardware, would give it 9/10. got mine at http://www.superetrader.co.uk/...ducts_id=375

It's available in a few UK stores that will ship overseas. It's actually officially in stock in most stores. I bought mine from clove.co.uk

I'll post more when I get it.

Is this phone really coming out or that company just trying to fool the stock market?
I like this phone and think it's a great phone. However, I've been waiting for more than 3 months already. Now it's mid March already. I am really wondering about this phone will they come to US

Why this phone doesn't have Wlan?
It's useless for me without that.
Ok, I'll buy card for Wlan, but this phone has only one slot, which is already occupied with 1GB memory card - whithout this card I can't work. Any idea, solution, some similar other phone?
I heard that exists cards with wlan and memory together. But does exists with 1 GB memory?

MMC and SD slot are usually together (just one slot)

Does someone know if this phone has separate slots for both MMC and SD. If so you could use the SD slot for a wifi card and the MMC slot for memory expansion!

But no wi-fi and no support fot UK 7-digit postcodes, sadly. Can add SD wi-fi, I suppose, so probably the best all-in-one currently available. I think I'll wait for something better though.

I've been looking a long time for a new phone. I'm now choosing between the QTEK S200 and this one but I think that it will be this one.

Differences between QTEK S200:
+ GPS
- Wifi
- Bluetooth Version 2
- IrDa
