i have bought a Motorola A1000 from my friends.the phone is looking good. but the problem is, it's has been lock. i cannot use any of simcard. please anyone help me.... what should i do?

At the time, it was too much phone for our market in the US. If you are in the US, what service are you using? And also, which battery do you purchase. I have Motorola a1000, but I'm not shure - does it have GPS or not? If yes - what software do you use for it?
