This phone works well but is very delicate, the LCD screen smashed whilst i was travelling home on a crowded train. Motorola should make something more durable than the 7 months I have paid and used for this phone and now will have to pay around $300 to fix the LCD screen.

The motorola A1010 is generally a great
phone just a bit anemic with respect to
the features.In metal exterior having:
WLAN,EDGE,FM radio ,and a larger memory
,I think that it would be more attractive.

This phone has been changed to a different version available in Japan and China, check out the motorola website, FOMA M1000.This is the best 3G cellphone ever, with 1.3 megapixel camera and a VGA camera at the front. FOMA M100 also has WLAN Wireless LAN so it can connect to the internet for free. The menu can be changed to ENGLISH, JAPANESE,AND CHINESE. with handwriting recognition software. Processor is ARM 186Mhz with 32MB RAM. expandable using Transflash micro SD card. The rest of the specificacations are the same as this model, A1010.
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS PHONE IS THAT IT IS AVAILABLE NOW IN CHINA FOR ONLY US D three hundred dollars.

apart from the camera is there really not that much to set it apart from the a1000,for a minute i thought motorola might have had a guilt trip about producing a phone that is only slightly different to the last one,but alas not when you look at how many razr variations they are still knocking out.

why u saw people using dis fone is becoz it was produced & sold 4 some time but then due 2 some reason moto stopped its production

Motorola, you are the looser among all the handphone manufactural, I hope you can quit manufacture handphone. You make people waiting for nothing...if you cannot produce please don't annouce them. We're very dispointed of Motorola. I will not use this brand again, suck.....

this phone seems to be so cool why motorola canceled??? A-GPS support and 3g with the so-called Symbian OS. I would buy this one only becuz it has GPS.

i was impressed with the motorola a1000 and i plan to upgrade to the a1010 when it is released in the uk i am expecting tjis phone to be an improvement from the motorola a1000, i want it to impress me with new features but still have the familiarity i know with the a1000 basically im expecting alot out of the phone XD

This phone seriously sucks. The GPS sync is bad, pc sync is dumb and the Trans Flash has been replaced twice in a month

Be patient. there is no point in releasing a phone which cannot compete with the other pda's. 2nd quater 06 there will be a new umts pda motorola.
