a1600 s the mobile which used the gps for free for lifetime................, its unbeleivable i am very happy of buying this handset. sure its worth for the money as well as to the satisfaction of all the customers who s willing to buy the moto-a1600 handset.
go.............., carry on purchasing the a1600 handset dont be confused.., it as all the satisfactions like style, look, attraction, features, functions etc........................................................, go head a1600

Does the A1600 have any problems with caller I.D.? I heard that, if you have caller I.D. activated, when someone calls in, the name and number doesn't show up, but only shows up when the service is cancelled? can anyone confirm this for me? thanks.

Even basic W270 in which there is very low bass effect gives you excellent stereo effect.
Those who know about acoustics will understand.

What ever works for A1200 and E6 it will work for this phone as well. I have tested it personally.
Phone of the series like A1200, E6, A1600, A1800 are versatile mobiles and virtually you can telnet, ssh as you do in linux.
But these things needs some patience and expertise.
Also even you have firmwares in motorolafans.com you can upgrade downgrade etc etc

Is this phone compatible with tarballs? Is there any similarity with desktop linux in this phone (use of terminal, commands, like on ubuntu or fedora) How many applications for this phone are available? (compared to a desktop linux)

Sound quality is not good as other models. Lots of noise could be heard when you play a MP3 song.

I have had the older model since it has come out, and I must say if this newer model is just as great as the older ill be sold!
I just wish that:
*they made a RED version
*put in WiFi
*added more internal memory (27mb isn't that great, especially considering that its predesesor only at 16mb to begin with. ITS NOT EVEN DOUBLED!! lol)
*I hope this time when I put the phone on vibrate, it still doesn't ring up when I get a SMS lol
but those facts set aside, this should be one of the bests..im especially looking forward to using that panorama feature and that GPS baby!! And hell Id even be so bold as to say its better then the iphone (in many aspects)!
Now just make this baby in RED, PLEASE PLEASE!!!
People working at Motorola, start manufacturing these in RED!!

buddy battery and sound is fine but camera is superb ultimate excellent ........i have decided between nokia 6210 and a1600 and realise my decision is right .......i thing its camera is better than any 5 mp camera
