i just bought this phone last week and it rocks. there is only one problem i have been facing the piscel browser installed doesnt open any webpages. any address i enter,it displays "document is faulty could not be converted" please can someone tell me right settings for the piscel browser to work properly. thanks

hey i have taken this phone through the ambassador offer by Motorola. This is my 3rd phone and every moment i spend with it, i marvel at its technology and fully packed features. I have one problem regarding the phone.

How do I transfer files from the computer to the phone without using the theme assistant? I have switched on the USB NET in the phone but i get the error "failed in trying to connect to Motorola phone! Pls verify that your phone is in normal mode and try again later."

I have reset my phone lots of times but am still getting the error.

Please help me someone and i would be happy if it would be step by step.

when i received this phone, it only had picsel browser installed and not the "normal" browser as well. i have not managed to surf any site using picsel (document faulty error...). how do i get the "normal" browser installed again?

Hi Shiv! Please try to use CSD setting when using Piscel as a internet browser, it always work! If someone is sending attachment thru Yahoo or Hotmail( in Piscel ), then get a EDGE phone is much better. GPRS speed sucks!

A question for Miso Novakovic... can u operate hotmail using picsel. r u using gprs/csd? I am EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED with Picsel. WAP Browser works fab for me.

Hi,
More than a Motorola fan, I am an ardent Linux fan. that's why I bought this in the first place. On the whole the phone's gr8. Been using it for 3 months now almost. I still maintain that Picsel has a problem. If anyone has been able to use hotmail or yahoo. and by use I mean the way they would on a pc.. attach files etc.
Please do let me know. Regarding the document being too large problem... it still seems that you are trying to load a html document using the wap browser. incidentally the wap browser is marked with browser icon and html browser is marked as picsel. my office email syncs beautifully. usb sync is perfect! IR and bluetooth are gr8. However file of size > 1mb dont seem to be sent though receiving is possible. Motorola support is crap. esp in India. Speaker voulme is less even at the max.

This phone ROCKS!!! Phone is full of features.Software is stable like a rock.No glimps. Flawless.I'm so pleased with this phone and in its class (business) is on the top. Not recommending for fun. Camera is a weak side.When you accustom with fact there's no keypad but only TFT screen you realize you have improved high class Motorola phone.Sync is excellent. Final word: Motorola, you made a great phone.

hi friends.............i am using this phone since one month now......its an amazing phone.....the only drawback being the camera quality ......but if u really wanna click photos then buy a digi cam..........anyone interested in buying this phone can contact me at 9891779777...........the price is for around 16000...........its with a bill and warranty

this phone has had me mesmorised since it arrived yesterday, as devang stated it only gets better as time goes on. here in the states no one has really seen it and it has amazed people.. the only problem i have recieved is the internet function.. but that is due to the service provider, because they want to keep phones that they dont yet supply out of peoples hands.. in all if you pay under $550 american dollars for it, you shouldn't be too disapointed.. on ebay they are relativly cheap, however if you can get it through your service provider you should, so you dont have to deal with costumer service tellign you no.

i have changed my mind on selling my cell as its very addictive. i hope people develope applications and games for this cell soon. I request everyone to pls tell me as soon as they get any software or applications or even game for this.

I'm have been using A768i since December2004. It is a very good phone at a pricing of RM1,700. It would be better if there are:
1) Showing animation by pressing the right side key with the flip closed. The analog clock just doesn't look nice
2) Pack a cleaning cloth together! i really have to clean the screen daily.
3) Get a higher rating battery than the original 780mAH. This phone is power demanding!
Beside all these, all the things work well and stable. Including the Piscel Browser(Tip: You've the use CSD setting instead of GPRS!)
Lastly i'm very appreciate the Chinese Handwriting input, writing chinese SMS is never been easy!

One of the features states that it has "Applications: J2ME MIDP 2.0." What does this mean? Does this mean that you can develop applications on the MIDP 2.0 and upload it to the A768i? Thank you.

I havve been using this since almost 2 months. Its a fantastic cell. No Flaws. A very serious cell. I am completely impressed with motorola. This has all those small features but powerful which NOKIA always miss out!!
9/10 from me.
