i have a780 for 2.5 years.
my biggest problem is that it turns off and reset when i`m calling or speaking automaticly and then it resets . and i lose my call.
please help me

I had this phone for just a few months. I'm really impress about this phone because of how the phone goes. On the other hand, this phone lacks battery strength in a way tha it always turns off by it self evrytime i use the browser... This phone could be pain in my butt sometimes! I wish i should just have bought A1200 or A1000... Sooner or later, this phone can be the greatest embarrasment!!! Goodluck to all the A780 users!!!

Several people asked if anyone have the network and MSS setting for T=mobile. No one replied. There are several great response for setting up cingular. If anyone out there can help me with setting up my MMS with Tmobile it would be greatly appreciated. I can send but I can't recieve. What am I doing wrong? please e-mail me at accuratedepser@verizon.net

Here are the settings for t-mobile that you can manually enter. Go to http://www.importgsm.com/home.php. Then select GPRS WAP Internet Settings from the buttom right "Help" section. This will give you the internet and MSS settings. The only thing that I am still having problems with is recieving picture messages. I can do everything else.

does anyone face the some problem as me?
i can do nothing now, even set ringtone or move file, everytime i do that, come out msg of "memory is full", but both my phone memory n card memory is 50% empty. anyone can help me? thanks alot..

well i had this phone for about a month or so and it works so so just that it suddenly turns off and the pic msg dont work they dont send and the battery is not lasting alot only a litte and i use alot of txting. i want to trade it with the A1200(ming) but i dont know if im making the right choice. if anybody can make it to work the pic msg and the internet plz tell me !! thanx

I just purchased this phone off ebay. I live in the usa and come to find out that im not able to use the internet and picture msg with this phone. Does anyone know if i can go anywhere and download the right software to do so. Help!!!

The phone is no doubt great, but just shuts off during conversations. Also i faced a problem with the software and document viewer, as trying to open docs in the phone would lead to the phone hanging up!!

I have bought this phone 8months back. It was working great...till now. but now its getting restarted while i am in between a call. i dont know y it is happening. probably attacked with any virus. but my knowledge says that this mobile cannot get attacked to virus. if anyone has solution, please let me know. phone gets restarted between calls.

I have been going through the review comments posted for this model, but amazed to see if its really been tried or not. Most of the complaints are about synching. Why not go to linuxdevices.com and download the applicable usb drivers. It comes with elinux 2.4 (and with me it has never ever crashed), and happens to be the most stable I have come across till date. Alternatively go to the mobile section of astalavista.box.sk, and you should be able to find almost every information that you aspire to seek.
Whatever has been shipped with the device is already the best possible that could have been done. This device happens to be a great bluetooth, which can be used for various purposes with different profiles and no LOS requirement (a major shortfall of Ir). Little tweaking here and there and you could do wonders with this right from browsers, wap for synching to a full fledged channel scanner.

yo does any1 know if i can get sumthin for this phone tht will enable me to watch video/mpeg/wmv??
im planning on getting either this phone or the v3x or the E1070.... both the other phones arent as cool but they can do mpeg4 as well hav 2 cams,... if theres no way get video for this then i dont think i'll purchase it....
