I have recently bot this phone for my sis.She was complaiing tht the battery goes down in like 6 hours, even though it has been fully charged n not used for a single min. Has someone come across this problem? also shez not able to make or receive calls thru the handsfree(able to listen to radio and songs though)..is any particular setting reqd for tht?

i am quite impressed with the looks of this handset, moreover its a touchscreen phone with a price tag of Rs.7200. It looks like a 'must grab'.
But before i buy this phone i would like to ask the people who have personally used this phone some questions :
1. How is the sound and camera quality of this phone ?
2. We all know that it is a linux based phone. So will it support external applications ???
3. Does it have some in-built applications to read pdf or word files, or will we need an external application to have that feature.
Note : I again request ONLY those people to answer to my query who have personally used this phone.

it is a value for price phone. But there is a huge glitch!! Battery backup is poor and u cannot find any themes or alternative player for this. Also sound quality without headset is very poor. I suppose ppl who want to satisfy their desire to use a touchscreen phone can go for this. But overall i woldn't recommend it.

hi,
I am udaya I am purchasing for this mobile is last week, But i am not satisfied for this mobile.
Battery backup is very bad only for 5.00 hrs to 6.00 hrs only.
pl rectified this probluem

You got to select PC connection from Menu and then select USB mass storage, then Activate. Manual has this explained.

does themes and appication of moto roker e6 works on this phone as both A810 & roker e6 are linux based phone?

Best buy among the mobiles of this price range.
Very appealing ans stylish, touchscreen feature is excellent and a bit slower than other counterparts.
Camera quality is not bad, sound quality is average. It weighs very light and fits my pocket and I love that. This is not a phone of features, but will satisfy its yuva audience. I feel it ideally replaces my previous V3i.

i chechked all the features ..but i unable to find how i put phone loke code..when we are going to use phone.....like in nokia phone we use..
any one can tell me ?

So wat i suggest is do check the features before spending on this particular handset.

Hi, I bought this phone. I found this is good to experience the touch screen.
Though, it has some important features not working, Like, You can listen the FM through its Head phones only and cannot switch to LoudSpeaker option.
Most important:
Also the Volume keys given dosen't work if Lock the phone or onen some other application, You can not change the FM station through the HeadPhone Lead.
Though it has good sound but,
It's has low sound for mp3 files.
Finally it's a personal phone for personal use only, not for show-off purpose.
But definately it has the style..
