Hi,
I have purchased ATRIX2 in August 2012 from Croma . It is a good piece . As for connectivity , call drop issues, i have not faced such issued till now. I am on Vodafone mumbai . Also installed 3G pack. The browsing and downloading are good . Did the ICS update recently and the look and feel are soothing .The camera has improved,and so are the application icons and widgets. Just a word of caution before ICS update is to backup data,as certain live wall papers disappeard after the update. One of the issue that I faced was the 'E' & 'H' icons sometimes disappear if not used frequently, in that case just have to switch to airplane mode and back, then the icon appear.

I am planning to buy ATRIX2 since last few days. But my plan is getting delayed after getting reviews regarding Network problem, browsing issues, SMS issues.
I am Vodafone use in MUMBAI.
I request all the ARTIX2 users(specially Vodafone-mumbai) to give your true feedback regarding network & browsing

Atrix 2 wont get a jelly bean update, while Razr might. Also if in your area you can get a Galaxy Nexus, then you are wasting your time settling for anything else.
If not check out Galaxy S Advance.

Against the Nexus, still Atrix2. Better camera, build quality, call quality, have expandable memory... and the ICS on Atrix2 is almost as good as stock. And the nexus is pretty dim for a SAMOLED HD device. Of course if you must have the timely OTA update, then Nexus is your cup of tea.

Yes, I'm biased. Well what do you expect from an Atrix2 thread?! :p

Hey Guys...
Totally confused here...
I had only phones in ma mind till now...
1. Motorola Razr XT 910 and
2. Motorola Atrix 2
Was totally confused which one to go with...
I am reading a lot of good reviews about atrix 2, but also hearing the razr is having a problematic battery, which mostly wont stay for even 1 full day...
Now the 3rd phone in my mind is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus which is also available for 21k in ebay.in...

Please guys advice me which one to buy...
Atrix2, Razr or Nexus?

Anyone having trouble answering calls after the 4.0.4 official update?

Sometimes when I have an incoming call, swiping from the central circle to the green "answer" button doesn't do anything. The screen flashed, but the phone continues ringing.
Has anyone encountered this problem and fixed it?

For the price, the atrix 2 is the best bang for your bucks !!!

I've tried many phone comparable to it, this is the best for my use : regular phone use, Internet browsing and gps.
I cant comment on games and benchmarks numbers though.

I even found the screen better than samsung galaxy s2 (I know I gonna be insulted, but I tried 3 galaxy s2 and an infuse).
I really don't know the fuss about samsung's super amoled.
I compared atrix2 and galaxy s2 with same videos and pictures. Set them both at Max brightness.
Well, the atrix2 is more vibrant in colors and brighter.
I found the galaxy s2 is too dark, outside with sunlight the atrix 2 is better.
Also I found that the galaxy has a green/blue tint which is unpleasing when displaying photos.

Internet browsing : they are all fast, but the atrix 2 is smoother to navigate and has sharper display.
Almost as smooth as iphone 4s.

Gps : I use a lot of gps for work, I used navigon, sygic, google nav. The best gps device in my opinion is iphone 4/4s. But the atrix 2 is close behind, very quick to lock and rarely loose gps signal. Htc's phone (sensation, vivid) are also very good. Samsung not very good, takes more times to lock.

For battery life the atrix 2, galaxy s2 and iphone 4s are pretty much comparable. A plus here for iphone, because when not in use there's not battery drain. Androids phone sucks battery even when everything is shut (data connection, wifi, sync....). Htc and lg phones are worst for battery life.
The atrix 2 last me a full day with my regular use : 10 minutes calls, a dozen of texts, 2 hours web browsing,1 hour gps.

Quality calls, the atrix2 is good but galaxy2 and iphone 4s are a tad clearer.

Camera quality : make a decent job a little behind iphone 4s and galaxy s2.
But good enough for facebook, birthday party and pictures in a bar or those type of stuff, no one will make a difference anyway.

I just wished the atrix 2 is little bit thinner, but not a deal breaker its still pocket friendly.

So, for anyone looking for a best bang for the bucks, go for the atrix 2. It ROCKS for the price !!!
As good as (even better) than galaxy s2 and iphone 4s. For 2x or 3x cheaper.

I'm running ics 4.0.4 and its super smooth,
And I paid it $120 !!!

Just got this monster yesterday .... must say its very impressive ... however m facing a problem whenever i try to open images frm my sd card it says sd card full, not enough memory to open app .

My query for Indian Atrix 2 USERS..
My budget is around 18k, need a smartphone which has nice cam quality, smooth and gr8 looking user interface no lags and BATTERY backup is must. It should not be like normally what androids are famous for i.e. 24hrs.. even if we don't touch it.. it shouldn't be like that.
So my research and user reviews concludes Atrix2 and Nokia N8.
Need a good advice in choosing between them.

but if you have any saved games or anything else importent on your SD you'll loose them too if you don't copy them also to your PC before formatting

Or just try putting another memory card and see if the same happens to that memory card. (make sure you put a memory card which wasn't used on another phone , (cause system files of the privious phone might make your atrix crash or something so use a memory card which wasn't used on another phone )
