COMPOSING RING TONES:
1. Press right soft key (Styles) once
2. Scroll to My Tones & Select
3. Scroll to Empty Ring & Select
4. Highlight Notes: & press Change (right soft key)
5. Up scroll key gives you a 4th Octave C (Do).
6. Scroll up to get semitones from the last note. E.G. 4c (C or Do); 4#c (C sharp/D flat or Do sharp); 4d (D or Re); 4#d (D sharp/E flat or Re sharp); 4e (E or Me); 4f (F or Fa); 4#f (F sharp/G flat); 4g (G or So); 4#g (G sharp or A flat); 4a (A or La); 4#a (A sharp/B flat); 4b (B or Ti); 5c (5th Octave C or Do again but one octave higher than the beginning) and so on.
6. The phone inserts a '2' after the note name, e.g. 4c2, to control its duration. This can be edited with 0 to 5 to shorten or length the note duration.
7. Insert a 'r' after a note creates silence after that note. The silence duration can also be controlled by a number from 0 to 5, e.g. r4.
8. An * separates one note from another.
9. Notes can be edited by changing its octave, duration, deleted, or overwritten by a new note. E.G.: 4c2 can sound longer if changed to 4c5; can become one octave higher if changed to 5c2; can become one semi-tone higher if changed to 4#c2, etc.
Have fun!
