Hi, I bought this mobile 2 days ago in India. My initial experience as follows:
Pros:
Very good screen for this class works very nicely under direct sunlight, very loud and clear ringtones, large number of ringtones installed, every basic feature is available, phonebook is very large (600), SMS memory also big (250), decently fast software, decent battery life comparable to nokia, messanging is very easy, supports pictures and tones(mono) from nokia phones, software is very logical takes time to get used to for nokia user, customizing possibilities are good, quality of material is nice looks more expansive mobile, keypad is very responsive great for messanging, stereo radio sounds well, size of mobile is little large but very slim for this class looks very nicely sized mobile and fits well in large hand, free headset is bonus.
Cons:
Entering characters while messanging is little slow (off keypad tones to make software faster), radio catches only powerful signals, no loudspeaker (handsfree), only 3 installed wallpapers that too of very poor quality which degrades the actual screen quality, back panel has little backlash which makes cracking sound while holding fon tightly, vibration is not so powerful you may miss calls if tone is on silent mode, unbranded free headset.
This is only my 2 days observation on this set but I found it very good and recommends it to all who want a basic fon with everyday features.

hi there!
I am looking to buy this phone, But plz tell me that can I connect it with computer. How many ring tones and wallpapers can I download.
In my connection there is No option for GPRS than how will I download waallpapers.
and what abt battery. I talk 2-3 hrs daily on mobile.

it is good phon beter featur of it the stero m radoi . realy great sound sound.bat stay with me 5 days with minmum use and 2 days maxmum use put my proplem is i cant connect my phon with my computer plz any person know an thing about this send to me at mahgopi@hotmail.com

This is a very nice phone.
but i am not getting any silicon cover to this phone to protect it from dust.
and.. i have activated gprs in my phone, but i am not knowing how to use the facilities..please help me in this regard.

Hi, I think c 168 is very nice phone, everybody can use easily. If you want to downlode the ringtone you have to search on web site, you can send a sms and receive your ringtone on your mobile. About to connect this mobile to computer I don't know if andybody knows please send in my e-mail. thanks

well even i am a colg student....and i wanted this phone coz of fm only....yaar but now i think i'll stick to my nokia1100 only....but this site says it has a gud battery?????????chalo ok

it's a very nice good looking phone there feathers r very good but there is a only batery problem. batery backup is for one day only. i am college student i need fm but betery is low after some time

My brother bought this mobile phone, Motorola C168 abroad(Don't mention the provider). The problem is I couldn't used here using the SIM Card in our place. Please anybody could tell me what am I going to do that I can use this mobile and could enjoy the features an the benifits of the phone...Thanks

Hi,
I bought this phone by looking at GPRS and FM feature after I lost my Sony Ericsson K500i. I used that phone for internet access only using a USB data cable. But I am not sure how to connect this(C168) to my Laptop. Aparently it doesn't have data slot. I will be greatful if anyone could advice me about the Phone-PC connection. I do not wish to use this phone for calls. Just for internet through GPRS.

dear sir,
I purchased your c168 model. It is a very goodlooking and stable model. It also has a great look.I will be glad to have two more options in my phone -----
1> pc to cell connection so that it can be used as a modem.
2> memory extendability via memory chip

I want to buy this model but my dealer tells me that it is one of motorolas flop model???
I would like to know from anyone using this model if he/she has faced any problem like
