I saw an ad of Motorola in Hindustan Times today, ie 25-3-2006. Looked up Motorola website for more information, but was shocked to find only an old bit of information, before it was even launched! It shakes my confidence and probably I will not buy it. Poor marketing, I would say as a consumer. Moreover, the reviews I read at this site suggest that the radio FM reception is poor.

Hi,
Mobile viewers, i am from chennai.my previous mobile is NOKIA 3100,it was missing. so, i brought this cell without idea. But the MOTOROLA C168 not cheet to me.
Really loud ring tones in chennai city compare to other,
Quality display,
FM radio,
Superp Games,
Use full options in menu system,
Good look,
Very less weight,
Ring tones can downloda from nokia phone.
Exc., and allway best.
i will Recomand to Brought this phone to middle class people.

I bought it only a weak ago its battery backup is good slim and easy to use. Only the radio pick up is poor I hear disturbance in closed room not as good as nokia 2300.
No mini usb to transfer pic. Overall value for money.

Heya,
I'm needing to find out the meaning of two symbols that appear on one of my customers phones.
One looks like a bell with three brackets on the right hand side but ISN'T an alarm.
The second is the number one with a strange icon that looks like two dots attached to a bracket but is not a voicemail. I'm stumped~! Had a quick read of the opinion pieces and couldn't find anything helpful...
Any ideas? I haven't been able to find it in the user manual yet. If anyone knows any online links or has seen this before I would be very grateful.

wel got this for around $90 equiv in india. itz a really gr8 piece of hardware,xcept for the somewhat lousy FM.very gud battery back up,really loud ring tones,u will not miss any calls fo sure.

I am from Sri Lanka.
I have bought a Brand new Motorola C168 a weeks back from ABANS - Sri Lanka. Retailer said it is having around 4MB memory capasity; but I can not download/open even 54kb MMS message. It said, "no capasity" while there is NO any other messages in the folders. I can see the so called MMS message icon in the "inbox" but can not open and listen to the sounds. There was another MMS came which file size was 29kb and it says "MMS fetching is failed". why this is why? I can not see any indication about memory capasity of this phone even from the manual as well as in Motorola web site. Please reply as I am TIRED and HATE this phone now. Please attend.

Few days back i purchased this motorola model....n m really impressed.bt can anybody tell me whether this phone has a speaker phone, beacuse i have not been able to find it but retailer was saying yes it has..............so i request, if anybody could tell me what is the actual scene regarding speaker phone n how to on it.
