Hi all,
i've got a C261, I'have a genric usb/serial cable to, connect it.
What are the sofware to transfert pictures, files ... i've try the one from Mobile Action, but i don't succes to connect.
I don't know if it's a usb driver problem : i don't find the one from Mobile Action
Does someone has the solution ???

I have had this phone for over a year and a half and haven't had one problem with it, even after going through a full washing machine cycle.

I had this phone given to me as a gift and let me tell you nothing but trouble from day 1!!! The first phone I had was ok then the battery seemed to last a short period of time(would come to wish that I had just kept it), anyway called net 10 and they sent a replacement batt. but that shorted the phone out or something and didn't work long at all and when it did the same problem short batt. life, called they said they would send another and send a package to send old phone back. So I thought problem soon solved sent old phone back new phone didn't work long either, so they sent another batt. again, so I'm thinking it's just one of those things(yeah, right), ok then batt. shorted phone out right away and never worked again. They offered another phone same kind again( even after I asked for another model), so to bring the never-ending story to a close after another phone and batt. which didn't work either, I just gave up and bought another net 10 phone the nokia 1600 which was a great phone just no bells or whistles at all but great batt. life and so on, so I tried tohave the minutes transfered from the old phone to the new phone I had just bought after staying with them on the phone 45 minutes to an hour gave up on that too (had to get to work that day)... So my first couple of months with net 10 was not good but their so doggone cheap on prepaid minutes I've stayed with them and bought another phone an LG don't like the echo on it probably going back to nokia 1600 after the minutes run out. Summary: net 10 is great if you don't have any problems with their phone, but if you do look out!!! They might never get it worked out. Thanks for your time

i liked it the only prblem is that the screen cracked when i fell on it skating but other than that i loved it it was cheap and worked fine

Me 3 this mobil is The Best . NOT . this mobil sucks i want to get a samsung u700 .
or any other phone that will repleas this moto c261 or whatever its could.

Same here...pics are ok.,clear captured but I cannot further transfer it to my friends coz no bluetooth and infrared access...hmp!

Hi all, I am Edmund from Malaysia. Before I purchase SE phone, I was using Motorola for 5 years. Including E398 and C261 this handset.
In my opinion, C261 is ok for SMS, CALL only.No entertainment when u are boring.Furthermore, it's short battery life is a bit trouble too. Like E398, it has problem when u intend to charge your C261 handset.
Anyway, sms input method is awesome and this is what Motorola strong at. Keep it up and remember this phone is having no function at all... Haih.

I have been using this phone for the last 2 years..I did not have a single problem while using this phone.Its MMS option works fine.
It also has a very fast WAP browser than many other MOTOROLA phones..Overall it is a fantastic phone with its fantastic Picture quality & other features over its price range.
The only problem is,it has no USB port.

moto c261 is one of a beatiful handy phone made by moto but i've encountered problem with this phone;when i received call my the phone say "ACM HAS REACHED ITS VALUE" what does it means?ho to avooid it?aled my num for the second time so that we could talk thoroughly

Hi! Eureka!!finally can transfer all pics from C261 to computer!!you have to click "File Manager" and enter it to download pics to computer NOT from "Album" mode---the bug is that in Album mode it says download success---but rather it should say "please use file manager to load pics to computer" will Motorola please correct this bug and remove the confusion?
