Hi,
I had bought a USB data cable for C380, but it doesn't supply software to me. Thus, when i connect it to my laptop ( windows XP ), It request me to install the software. But I don't know what software & where can I download from. Any one can pls kindly advise. Thanks !

when you convert the mp3 make SURE the frequency is 44100Hz, otherwise your phone will say that it is corupted even though you can listen to that mp3 on your pc!!!!!!!!!!!!!(about the no spaces thing-name the mp3s that you want to upload to your phone with 4,5 characters ,after u upload them u can rename them however u want)
to those of u that have the ring problem:go to an authorised motorola SERVICE---it's easier

everyone here on the forum:
Please anyone could help me fixing the problem with my C380. i know there are lot of you guys who have the idea. I have posted this one earlier:
"Hi everyone here. I am one of those people who has problem with ringtone customization after having all the .mid and .imy deleted. i have already downloaded the back-up files for C380 from a rusian website that was posted earlier. My porblem is, i want to have all my software installed previously replaced with the back-up files that I have just downloaded, but the question is "HOW SHALL I DO IT?". i was thinking of the "reflashing" but how shall i do it? I want to see my phones back to it's original looks. I hope someone could help me. Or even give me softwares that i should be using. I am very thankful for that!
You may send me email at mr_hunks@yahoo.com.
Thanks a lot everyone!"

i cut my mp3s with nero wave editor or sounde forge 6, and compress with alive mp3.
and load it with mobile phone tools not p2k, which is a dangerous piece of soft

So...do you mean with p2k doesn't work? i also tried to put an mp3 converted with another program and said the same thing...i think all these mp3 converters do something to the mp3's or the p2k does something...if i put a cut mp3 to my mb it works, but a converted one doesn't, i can't understand

to Claw:

- try to make diferent setings on mp3, diferent bitrate ...
-also don't leave withe pace in title
- don't use large files 800 Kb is kinda large file, i loaded a 500 Kb and my phone was so slow it took 2 minutes to open phone agenda.
-i use mpt 3.11 to upload mp3 , and not p2k so it warnes me before it get's on phone about corupted mp3

You can use mobile phone tools to cut midi and mp3. Or for reduce mp3 bit rate you can use adobe audition.
