man you are so after that mp4s, i tell you this:
if you have any kind of video file that you want it converted to mp4 send it to me, and i make it mp4 so you can play it on your c380.
you can buy a Benq DC C40 digital camera (visit the benq.com) which makes mp4 video files, beside jpeg images, it's around 160 U$D :)
so send the video , or i can make you a custom animation, what you say ?

go to and pc shop and ask mini usb cable.i dont know much it cost but it wont be expensive.and yes u are right, im from malaysia too :)
to all:
c380 videos' feature is hidden or locked or whatever i dont know. but u wont be able to find it in an all-new c380. but i managed to enable the feature thanx to ... i couldnt remember his name.but u can find his post in this forum.

hi. i juz bought my c380 in malaysia. i used p2ktools. i screwed up the recording function in my phone. i cant compose new sms, switch ring tones. anyone can help me with this?

someone on this forum said that his c380 plays video files, so i guess is not a difference !?!
i think is the operator, anyway before you buy c380, go to multimedia, and it should have the folowing menu:
- (romanian c385)
Teme, Imagini, Sunete, Filme, Moto mixaj
(english)
Themes, Images, Sounds, Movies, Motomixer
Now if Movie (video) is missing, it could be the opreator, or factory settings.

diference from c308 and c385 is the c385 have an multimedia a folder with video and c380 dont. ai inteles

you should search on any cell phone shop, or online stores. it cost about 10 USD, at least that's what i payed for my cable, in Romania (from an online store).

Oh gosh, i can't believe no one gimme a damn about videos for out phone. Isnt this a great feature for this relatively cheap phone? Why the heck no one seems to bother looking for videos and share it with everyone elses? Anyway, so if u happened to find any good sites with 128*128 resolution videos..please let me know. thanks in advance. make sure its 128*128! thanks again!

after reset back to normal by motorola agent, i do it again. I enabled Video menu, using p2kTools and my phone bad back. In Message, OutBox,Draft,QuickNote is disappear. Under Office Tools, i'm loosing Dialling Services. Uder Setting-Phone Phone Status, i'm loosing Active Line. So there are no info which one active line that before this show on top like this "C1". So I use p2kTool, recheck back all checked/unchecked items. Nice.. its back to normal.. but i cannot use Ring Style. I didnt del any sound/pics. Why this happen? I already use Master Reset, but not work. I think I must take back c380 to motorola agent soon!

-in the MIDway 2.8 archive is a readme file, you didn't read that, but here we go:
Go to you pc properties (settings>control panel> modem) your phoen is recognized as a modem, look for the settings of the COM port,take the number and change it in the MIDway.
NOTICE !!!
Almost every time you restart the PC the COM port number changes, so when use MIDway always check modems COM port.
On my PC , the COM port always changes from 3 to 4 and 5 :)

same to who has prob with ring style. Today i found the way to settle tat problemo. I take my c380 to motorola authorized service agent, and they do the job instantly without any charge, becoz stil unde waranty. I'm so happy, and i will do again ;p del some unneed tone.
One more..
Anyone who expert, can create extra menu under sound menu. Now we have Apply as ring tone, so can add more like "Apply as SMS Tone?" so we can customize SMS tone without go to Ring Style. Any suggestion? ;p
