c380 is a different model from c390, they both have the same shape but the main difference between the two is that c390 has got bluetooth and it comes with a bluetooth handsfree device (at least in pakistan) i bought it for pkr. 3400 two days ago. baught it since it was the cheapest phone with bluetooth available in the market, the included handsfree was also quite comfortable but very basic in functionality.

I've been using this phone for 6 months now, so I thought I'd post a review. I am using it with a Jabra BT800 Headset. I was originally after a phone with bluetooth, no camera, and no gimicks.

In general I really like the C390. It is a functional phone. The speakerphone works well. I sit in on my dash or seat in my car while driving and can hold a clear conversation.

The microphone seems very receptable to wind. If you use a phone outdoors, particularly in windy areas this may be a problem for you. Using a headset seems to help...

Call quality is good; I like the Motorola menu layout; there is enough memory to fit some Mp3 ringtones or other data.

After 6 months the phone enclosure still looks new. The display looks a little scratched from sitting in my pocket with keys, but has held up well to this treatment.

I like the display size including default font size . It is functional without clutter.

My battery with bluetooth on seems to last around 3 days although this is without too many calls.

Bluetooth to the Jabra headset works perfectly.

I recommend the phone but have a few gripes:

1. It cannot charge over the USB connector! This means you can't plug it into your USB hub or use a motorola V3 charger (which uses a UCB plug and plugs in but does not function).

2. Voice dial is limited to 4 entries! This is my biggest disappointment. That is, even though I have 1.5Mb free memory on the phone. Note I've been told that even Motorola's latest phones are limited to 10-12 entries.

3. Battery life (even with bluetooth off). This would be less of a problem if I could charge over USB like with the V3. However, I believe there is a larger capacity battery available.

Cons:
- Little and poor display

Well, I hate Motorola, and this phone is junk! Then I won a S700i and N70 - previous phones: T65, T610, P800, P900 and a Samsung T100 (which a threw away in an act of absolute disgust)
So that my feeling out the way ...
Heres the honesty:
Its a cheap and cheerful phone, it has the essential features for todays user, mostly being Bluetooth, Color Screen and Poly-Funky-Phonic choonage.
Which pretty much sums it up, no special things here ... as you would expect from Motorola just a trusty user friendly Pop-Tastic phone.

I am planning to buy c390 in Pakistan in 6800 rupees (around $115)for the package having a bluetooth headset.

Please tell me (for the guys who have it already):

- Did you get the BlueTooth headset with the package of c390 ?
- What is the model of the BlueTooth headset you got with it ?
- How much price you paid for the package ?
- Are you comfortable with features of the mobile comparable with the price ?

I would be very grateful if you take out some minutes and answer my questions.

oh my god ..... it was like i have this c380 a couple of months ago and now ...this c390 spring out ... included with the bluetooth capability ...a really good features i didn't really often see in normal class phones. c380 relatively work well with it's performance , but the production of c390 however i think it's a waste .Motorola only imbued the bluetooth capability only and also the e-mail messaging. the rest are the same. The cover for c390 is identical to c380 and the color of cover can be fit in to c380 to ..What a waste motorola did. They should upgraded the memory of 1.8mb to more memory of make and extension slot for more capacity. However the motorola didn't and that was a very big dissapoinment to me and maybe to you to . c390 has only this 2 new features that i can see .The design are still the same , dull and boring . Altough it's circular navigation key and it's keypad looks relatively nice and easy to press , i'm sure those who have the c380 aren't gonna get this c390 for it's quite a boring design . But overall c390 and c380 are brothers but only the additional 2 new features are added in the c390 ..
