erm.. actually u al hv to noe this phone jz a upgrade version of c350. So the function if still the same but at least it feature with VGA. motorola hit best seller for c350 cheap and colour screen. so they might try to hit the market with this phone again. so i still this a Great phone =D

It is pleasure that Motorolla only sells the products not justifying its compatibilty.after purchase customer will suffer no matter company is gaining and gradually going backward from later manufacturer.i think no one should purchase phone like mine,whenever i think i get pain in my mind it was completely wastage of my own laborious money.still im suffering with that phone.malaker

Motorola is a big wireless cel phone manufacturer of the world,i failed to under whether they honesty on their product or not i have been still facing the problem with my moto c550 after 3times repair within 3moths from the date of purchase its distributor in Bangladesh(Ring Bangladesh) has removed its GPRS facility from the phone killing my desire to browse web/wap site.Ah nice is their policy really appreciable.Thanks

DON'T BY this telephone, please! Believe me, I bought it, and since that I'm regreting.
On the other side, if you wan't just to brake something to feel better, this is the right thing for you.
P.S. I vote this phone for worse cell phone EVER !!!!!

Im a poor man due to paucity of fund last year i purchased motorola c550.My aim was to browse wap site,its irony of fate that after purchase i failed to browse any wap site coz the phone hanged itself.Within 6 month i had to go its service center 3times after expanding a big amount but the problem is as was.Service center told me not to use fr wap browsing nd take any download.I brought the matter motorola uk,Germany nd spain to replace it bot none replied.Motorola importer in Bangladesh,Ring bangladesh only repair the set bot nt serving as per its manual.My question is motorola is a largest wireless manufacturing co in the world why they marketted this type of phone fr bad name.I again request to motorola higher official to tel their Bangladeshi agent to replace it, malaker@gmail.Com

this phone suuuuuuuuux! its realli crappy~ the camera isnt clear, then ringtones are so lame, the keys are waaay to small, the screen is small as well!

I was tinkering with p2ktools and may have lost some files/seems - the audio (mic/speaker) have gone dead. Can anybody tell me how to deal with it?

i like myphone but i coulkd not load pictures and ring tone from a computer
it has no infra red or blue tooth neither the jack not availbe in my country....ethiopia

As a phone I get on well with it, and I get quick access to my mail on the internet. It is as good as any personal communicator.The stored pages feature is excellent.But its no good at photography. I want to upload and download photos and addresses/e-mails to the phone but can't trace the drivers/software. Anybody help me with this?

My Dad has this phone and belive me it's not worth it AT ALL!!!!!! It is SOOO SLOW, and the Camera quality is Sooooo Poor, why did they even bother with the camera???
The Display screeen is TINY!! And it's so plain nd ugly looking. I hate thos phone! I wouldn't buy it, it's no good.

This peace of phone is portable,has good screen colours but its weaknesses overide the positives.
It can't clearly pick signals from BTSs which are say 5 Kilometres away,the battery run time is so low,the buttons are not the best, the camera is not clear and it can't download ringtones.

I can see some people still need driver and software for the phone. You may want to try p2ktools for transfering pictures and midi files between PC and this mobile. Download p2ktools from download section at www.motomodders.com. I think they have the driver too, or you can try to download driver from www.motorolac.wz.cz. Good luck and happy hunting. I would also really like to hear anyone who has tried other sources.

some of u have the same prob which i had but i found d solution. Actually only those ringtones can b played on this mob which r downloaded via mms or gprs i.e. through air. if u download ringtones thru datacable it ll not ring if u assign it as ur ringtone.
u do one thing u send the downloaded ringtone via mms to such a no. which does not exist or even ur no.[ if mms service is not there 4m service provider] then that mms ll b there in ur outbox just read the mms store it with different name and thats it.
u ll b able to assign this as ur ringtone and dont forget to delete that orig. ringtone

this mob. c550 is gr8 dont blame its screen its keypad. this 4037 color screen helps in long battry life. as its having vga camera so photos r just good on comp.screen.
ya i agree its software r not easily available . but overall its handy, worth for money. from last 2 years m not havin any prob
