I Believe this phone can Attract the market if it competes in the 7k Category. The Display needs to be minimum 3.5" and 800ghz processor to have a 10K pricing.

About the CPU:
ARM Cortex-A5 (ARMv7-A) clocked at 600Mhz,
Embedded DSP (GSM, GPRS/EGPRS Multislot Class 12, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, MBMS baseband),
Embedded gpsOne GPS module,
Enhanced Qualcomm Adreno 200 GPU

Like the Huawei X3 it has a dedicated GPU chipset, unlike it, it has an updated CPU... So experience should be nice if Motorola doesn't fill it with bloatware.

Price is a bit higher than what I was expecting ... but it has quite some battery and toughness that many others of this grade lack. Sadly being Motorola it is not sold here, so Huawei X3 ate the market for it.

This phone is going to blow the market away.
9/10 is the rating for this phone gsm arena though 8.8 certainly reflects what we see ahead.
for those stupid ppl comparing it with defy+,man grow up, this phone is at the moment priced to be a 10k phone and has a direct competition with htc explorer and when you add the big battery life it will give(almost double of htc explorer),plus camera with flash and yes a secondary camera it will be the best buy of 2012.
htc explorer is much faster than galaxy y and wildfire s,,,go try yourselves because of the newer chipset processor (better than the 800 mhz pro chip galaxy y has.
and this monster moto has the same chipset plus no htc sense hence making it faster and cleaner so end of the story what you get from moto defy mini is faster, longer battery life, dual camera with flash, waterproof(ask a apple user what that means),fall proof(gorilla glass display and a pocket friendly size and a price of 10k. ( i am a apple and SOny user, but i am buying this monster for sure, too good to ignore man. ( 10/10 if they had removed the mini logo and made it 3.5 inch and 1 ghz pro but that would have increased the price so its a perfect price and going to beat all.( live with walkman dissapointed when it launched for 14.5 k, instead of 12 so moto defy mini the market for 10k phones is all yours, enjoy!!!!

This so called Mini is the same size as Defy yet the spcs are inferior in almost every way. I can see no reason for this device to exist.

I hope the future defy with a much more improved edition, with the following features. 1.change the display LCD pixel to 960X540 WITH 3.7 inch(Too big is bad for standby time) 2.Core Cpu chipset from 1 GHz TO 1.4GHz, 3.Camre from 5 Mega pixel to 8 Mega pixel, 4. vedio recording support 1080P ram to 4GB. 6. Battery to 2000mah.
oomphy, that would be the most excellent & shining ones ,dreamer gadget We're looking for! Small but super strong!
If really come to true,we'd buy and introduce friends
buy. It suits most fans of mobile worldwide. I believe!

I'm pretty sure the display of this smartphone will be a lot of pixel. It has low color scheme.

I can live with it's specs, other than the size!
At 109 x 58.5 x 12.6 mm vs the 107 x 59 x 13.4 mm of the original defy and defy+, what's "mini" about it? Seems 'budget' would have been a better moniker than 'mini'. I'd have preferred that they followed the design of the original defy's in the sence that the screen takes up just about the entire face of the phone (i.e. minimal bezel & plastics on the front), just shrunk down to the 3.2" screen for a decent small phone.
