I want to buy this for my gf as soon as its out. I have a defy + and its awesome. But she wants a similar smaller phone. This one is ideal. Any idea when it will be available guys?

What the use of laptop if it contains all new faetures but has older, slow processor.same thing happening with this phone.in todays market there no place for bad performer.it has only 600MHz processor.still rating is 8 out of 10.how?why?

I'm pretty sure the display of this smartphone will be a lot of pixel. It has low color scheme.

I can live with it's specs, other than the size!
At 109 x 58.5 x 12.6 mm vs the 107 x 59 x 13.4 mm of the original defy and defy+, what's "mini" about it? Seems 'budget' would have been a better moniker than 'mini'. I'd have preferred that they followed the design of the original defy's in the sence that the screen takes up just about the entire face of the phone (i.e. minimal bezel & plastics on the front), just shrunk down to the 3.2" screen for a decent small phone.

If one considers the Adreno 200 GPU powered Huawei X3, the 600Mhz CPU is enough.

I hope this device as a similar GPU backing up the CPU.

Also, I hope that the bootloader is not hopelessly locked.

Add the resilient build paired with a simple design ... nice :3

If cheap enough and snappy enough, this phone can sell a lot, just not in my country where Motorola doesn't sell anything at all (you can't find any new motorola device on sale).

> In reply to Petephone @ 2012-01-08 17:55 from 4X$4 - click to readSince it's a rugged phone, that lock is supposed to hold the back cover in case the device is dropped to the floor or make sure water won't get into it.

I surely hope that Motorola is going to make it a budget phone, because the same specifications can be found on the Samsung Galaxy 3
