> In reply to yo yo @ 2012-10-13 17:41 from HsKH - click to readMotorola stopped its operations in India. You wont find new Motorola phones in India. Only service centers will be operational for a couple of years. So look out for other manufacturers.

As usually Motorola is not responding, maybe they don’t need new customers!

> In reply to yo yo @ 2012-10-13 17:41 from HsKH - click to readI believe as per Motorola concern, they always release there mobile phone in Asia after 6 month of launch in US. Hence this phone might arrive sometimes December or January or Later, same as other phone like defy, mini, etc.

Finally, I got the Defy Pro from Canada today...this phone is the best qwerty android so far...than Samsung pro & Moto pro. The screen is just ok & the responsiveness is also find. The call quality is very good. Overall 6.5 out of 10.

> In reply to Nikolai-D @ 2012-09-21 23:24 from mVX8 - click to readIt seems I was wrong: check out the Motorola Brazil page for the Defy Pro and the Wikipedia article on UMTS: I conclude that the Defy Pro from Brazil may be suited for Europe after all (at least the DE/AT/CH market).

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-04 18:00 from 3I@a - click to readI hope they'll release a UMTS 2100 model sometime soon.. but so far Motorola hasn't released any information suggesting that would happen. :(

> In reply to Nikolai-D @ 2012-09-21 23:24 from mVX8 - click to readThe phone only provides WCDMA on the 2100 spectrum, so I guess for most European countries that means no.
If you're ok with GSM/GPRS/EDGE only, then it'd be ok and you could buy it... but I suppose that would make little sense with a smartphone like this.
