The phone uses mico SIM (the kind used by iPhone 4s), non mini-SIM (the "old kind") or nano-SIM (the kind used by iPhone 5).

> In reply to Anon @ 2012-10-19 18:15 from qLh@ - click to readI was always Samsung or HTC fan but I decided to give Motorola a chance and boy am I glad I did I didn't get the jazz just the regular HD with the 2530 mah battery I an a medium to heavy user and I personally think the battery life is amazing the jazz I'm sure is better but this phone more than meets my needs I usually have at least 20% left when I plug it in at night never before with any other Android was I able to come even close to that #and I saved a 100 bucks Motorola gets the best r reception has the best battery life by far and imho has the best build quality loving every minute and hour upon hour of my Droid RAZR HD keep up the good work moto

Motorola has always made solid sturdy phones. I started out with microtac, startac, razor (1st ), but what frustrates me though is that of late they are always a step behind others. TOO LITTLE TOO LATE seems to have become the norm than the exception. Just look at the Razr HD and the Razr Maxx HD line, beautiful phones announced some time back and not yet released globally. While others have announced their phones much later and have already launched them. It will already be on its way to being obsolete by the time it reaches the masses and they will wonder why sales are so poor. Good looks alone will not sell your phones, don't be the blonde of the industry, win back that reputation of being the industry leader and innovator.

Some markets are just starting to see the old razor maxx.....cumon moto, stop concentrating on China alone, remember China has lots of their own local brands while others don't and eagerly await your release. Make just 3 phones in 3 tiers, but make sure each of them is the best in their respective class. With heavy heart and after much waiting, getting Sam note II.

Let's see....
Droid Razr Maxx battery Li-Ion 3300 mAh with 4.3" AMOLED screen
vs.
Droid Razr HD (without the Maxx) battery 2530 mAh with 4.7" Super AMOLED screen.
Nice to have the slightly larger screen (among other features), but battery life is going to suck.

Why doesn't Motorola just ditch the Razr model and only make Maxx versions? We all know the battery life is not fabulous.

Luckily, they make a Droid Razr Maxx HD (which was announced already)

> In reply to Viper @ 2012-09-24 01:05 from YHcj - click to readconsider the following:
you need to connect to the internet in order to listen to steam radio
you need data plan for that witch means you need to pay for something that you can have for free - included in the phone price
using data 3g/4g drains the battery like hell this means will give you max 5-6hrs streaming with battery full and no other usage.
and like in cars if you get a top phone witch costs a lot of money i want it full option like in cars. how about a rolls royce with out a radio. why you need a radio if you are so rich you can afford a rolls? just because i paid a lot of money thats why

Why is everyone complaining about a RADIO?? This is 2012 not 1975. Use Pandora or 8tracks if you want streaming radio with more options than you can fathom. Otherwise just pop in a large SD card and fill the phone up with all of your personal music.

> In reply to 0uch @ 2012-09-13 04:29 from tRa2 - click to readi won't buy a phone unless it has a radio, its a deal breaker, when i up a ladder all day in schools and offices with people working i need a radio pluged in my ear, you want to take a separate radio up there and as for battery life? by that logic whats the point of having a phone that plays video or play music on it? that uses your battery? a lot? phones are to thin these days look at the galx 3 i rather have it twice as bit or think should i say and have 2 or 3 time the battery life :) thats what people should be talking about.
