I'm shopping for a 3G phone and I'm lost for choice between the motorola E1000 and the new Nokia 6680. Which is the better phone in terms of outright performance rather than features?

I work for Vodafone and have won a Motorola E1000. All my customers seem very happy with this phone. I would be happy to pass it on for £160 as I already have my own 3G phone.

How knows how to delete the pictures that are preloaded onto the phone when you first buy it. They are really annoying?

Dis is a sorted phone on voda an tha 8 times zoom is great and videos are crisp with ace sound! If your after a 7610 or other megapixel camera but think they are expensive try this you won't be dissapointed, also the screen is one of the biggest and sharpest ive ever seen!

can you please anwswer some queries i have:
does the phonebook's function allow searching for a name's first character only ? like sony ericsson ones or the e1000 allows up to you key in the entire name in the search box ?
is there is noticeable lag when you switch from function to function when there the transflash card is packed, say with 50 percent of pics and videos ?
does it come with the highlighting (or equivalent) feature / button that nokia phones (button marked with a PENCIL symbol) have for CUT/COPY/PASTE function ?
thank you very much for taking the time to answer this
