I tink i gonna sell my 3100 n T610 in favour of E398. It's a SGD200 bucks price diff between k700 and e398! I'd wanna try Moto.. don't quite like the lagg of T610 sms, even after firmware upgd (hence i got 3100). juz wondering... why wanna radio n poly tones, when u can play mp3 and use it as yr ringtone? beside.. from wad i know.. k700 doesn't have expansion slots (though it has a whopping memory for a hp)

for !S_A_E_E_D! - u must me blind, stupid and from the StoneAge, if u;re comparing the T610 with MotoE398. MotoE398 has tft screen with better resolution, better camera, better ringtones, mp3 player, mpeg4 player, different looks, etc etc etc

HELP PLEAASE!!
I have seen on a few websites (http://www.phonescoop.com/phon...one.php?p=30 5 and http://www.mobileburn.com/revi...?Id=722&sour ce=BROWSER and other places) that some version of the E398 does GSM 850, at least the Americas version.
Can anyone vouch for this? Is it true? How can I be SURE if i have (buying) an America's version that does 850?

This phone sucks! It's a comlete copy of the t610, the design is exactly the same, just this has got better features but that is waaayy more stylish. If The Motorola E398 and the Sony Ericsson t610 had a show-down , i would definently recommend the T610

You don't even know that if the speakers are better than the K700.
"E398 can record to Triflash card"
According my friend it cannot record direct too the MMC.
"E398 has the best MIDI sound in the market"
No buddy,you are wrong. Samsung and SonyEricsson has the best midi of the market.
"More over -it has Mp3 ring tones and a good speaker phone"
The K700 has it too.
E398 loss hands down to K700.
