its a wonderful phone ... but one of my main purpose is to play card games or mahjong on journeys.....but its using the linux os and games downloadable are really limited ... games.exe are unable to run .....disappointed

..... can anyone let me noe where i can download this games?

I realize that E680i cannot have the alert mode 'RingTones and Vibration' on the same time.

It only provides, 'Vibrate, Then Ring Loud' and 'Vibrate, Then Ring Soft'.

Is there a way to make the phone ring and vibrate at the same time?

This is not a special function, most of the normal phone able to do that, I hope E680I can do that as well.

Hi,

Is it really cannot use the bluetooth headset for listening radio??? If it is truth, this is really a minus point of E680i.

I understand that E680i use the wired headset as the antena, is there a way that I plug in my wired headset but i still wan to listen to the radio through my bluetooth headset.

Please advice.

i can't get my ht820 to play music files, dunno what it wrong, can someone help?

This is how i pair up my phone, starting with a blank device list on the bluetooth application on e680i
1) on the ht820, press the left mfb for 10 secs until light remains on
2) on the e680i, click on search until ht820 is found
3) on the e680i, click on bond for the ht820
4) on the e680i, it shows the ht820 bonded
5) on the e680i, wait for 5 secs and it will show ht820 headset connected
6) on the e680i, goto the phone page and dial a number, the ht820 works normally
7) on the ht820, press the right side mfb for 3secs or longer, nothing happens on e680i
8) on the e680i, launch realplayer and play a song, song comes out from phone not from headset, any button on the ht820 for music functions does nothing (right side)

hi siong once u link the bt with the phone n hold the play mode for few seconds n u can play mp3 in ur bt headset but unable to hear radio

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the phone is not able to listen to radio without the headset.

A question of my own though:

I downloaded some java games a few days ago and there was an error in starting the file. (when I run it, nothing happens) Does that mean our phone would not be able to play the games or applications like those that phones like Nokia can?

Hi,

I'm new to E680i,
Can anyone show me the step to set the BT headset into music mode?

I can listen the radio with the BT headset without the optional wired headset?

Because I realise that I cant open the FM without the wired heardset

i own e680 before but when this baby e680i came i was like wow baby n with wireless bt headset n can read 2gb sd n mp3 n radio n user friendly n what elas u want from motorola which can give u the best pda at the moment n i also have s700i but the memory is limited n screen small n maximum is 128mb stick n e680i u can listen to wma songs n videos n i store nearly 150 songs in 512mb n stil i have plenty of space n love every moment with the phone n hate nokia phone now days because own 6630,7610,3660,n gage qd,found no meaning in them but i like their 6230 n 6600 the best but the battery wears off fast n e680i package comes with 2batt n stereo headset all for $700 in s,pore n nokia 6630 brand new for $799 n just hate that phone n unless nokia improve their phone n bye bye bye

Deal all,

i have just bought this great phone, but there is one thing missing, that is the software for the fax function.
It can internet, mms, sms, have modem but cannot send or receive Fax?
Please let me know if there is a software that can turn this great phone into a better phone for business people.
It will be a great help to make this phone complete.

Hi all,

can you listen to the Radio WITHOUT the optional radio headset, I've heard that the headset works as antenna, did anyone actually listened to the radio through the integrated speakers ?

I juz found out the price of E680i from the ppl at Motorola M'sia... RRP is RM2199! omg... juz 2 wks back, i saw E680 at a dealer for RM1600. that's a lot of difference. When i asked how come, they said it was bcz of the bluetooth headset.

price in Malaysia now is RM1899, come with 256mb sd card, stereo bluetooth headset and 2 batteries. E680 now is RM1500++ with 64mb sd card.

I’m planning to buy this phone, but please give me some advice about the color, my question is….Does the BLACK color one leaves a glossy fingerprints at the back of the phone, as I’ve seen in some internet pictures?
