About the contacts problem, I think in total I have had 2 contacts that did this, but not for a while. I think this may have been with the phone I had to take back (as the voice dial would not work), so it could be a faulty phone you have.

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the phone contacts with their E770V? I have a problem where I add x number of contacts to the phone memory, when I get to a certain point, every new contact I add is corrupt or something like that. By corrupt I mean you try to view details, or send txt to contact or anything to do with that contact, and the phone reverts to the home screen. I have seen the same problem with three others and have sent mine away to be fixed (which they reckon they fixed it), but still having the problem. I think I will return it but just interested if anyone else has experienced this?

I havent tried any of the games on this site cos I haven't gotten round to getting a usb cable yet.

Most games look pretty basic but they do look like they might be fun and they're free.

Someone give the mdoom and street fighter games a try and tell me if there any good they look good.

Never mind its working ok now.
I didn't know how to get the cover off either.
I had the alarm set to go off and when it went off it went back to normal. that could be why but I still think it shouldn't have went like that.It was like that for over an hour and not sure how long before that. anyway at least its ok now.

My screen is staying white, the keys are staying red and the phone won't turn off or do anything when I press any of the buttons.

What do I do?

Is ther any way of taking the phone cover off??
I spilled tea all over it and its needs a wipe down!!

To charge via USB connection, first change the USB connection setting from Data Connection to Memory Card. It should then charge the phone when connected.

hey peps how r u im a somoan chick nd im hOrNiiiiIII over this moto. its so nice and slim best of all it does everything oder more $$$$ fones cant do soo.. get dis fone on ebay or vodafone wellington jville mall nd be hornnii 2 lik mee!!!

hi in nayr 1 i bought dis fone bout a month ago is is da bomb but 65k screen aint dat gud wen u watch fast movin videos. anyway i got dis fone 4 2 for 1 deal in nz 600 hundy but da only colour left wat white (everywhere)

My E770v charges only thru the AC adaptor and not thru the USB cable I use for the PC connection (my MPx200 charges with either one).

Is my E770v faulty or is there a setting somewhere?

I have tried this and it works as you say to install java games/apps :)
Although the program does crash a lot, but if it lasts long enough to keep a connection to the phone then copying stuff over is straight forward (maybe it's just my PC) It can be downloaded from http://www.motomodders.net/

As for the previous comment about charging via USB cable, mine charges fine.....

This is a pretty good phone. Feels well built except for the joystick control which is a bit fiddly but better than the round button on the Nokia 6630.
The miniSD card is only accessible when the battery is removed and while the 256K color screen is very sharp some fo the system fonts do not look so good. The camera is so-so but imported pictures look very sharp.

One minor drawback: the phone will not charge thru the miniUSB connector (the MPX200 can do this).
