krzr k1 is very nice & sweet mobile but the camera is very lowest.

Since it's playing up you should really think about getting it repaired, contact Motorola and they can tell you where it can be fixed up and good as new :) It's why there's a warranty. My phone broke down eariler in the year and they've fixed it up and it's been perfect.

I liked the look of this phone, but the day I got it, the menus were slow and then sure enough I got the white screens. It happened when I started transferring ringtones and wallpaper through the usb data cable. I tried flashing to newer firmware and then reflashing using the original firmware I had backed up, but I still got the white screens, so I got an RMA number from an online vendor the same day I got it.

Then I started noticing the same problems I had from other forums, so I started looking into other phones. The W490/W510 is almost like a watered down version of the Krzr. So far that phone is stable and I got it tmobile branded. The only downside is that I can't get it to be recognized by any of the p2k tools software, even the newest V3.0 doesn't recognize it. But I can transfer ringtones/wallpaper through the micro sd card and apply ringtones stored on the card!

I was very impressed by that phone, the first phone i really loved! But now the screen has turned white n the stupid, yes stupid phone just keeps on starting! That phone is pretty but fragile!!! :s

PS. laster 3 months only!

Hi guys,can you keep the pictures in a separate folder or can you create a new folder to hide your pictures?

The paint from the back of the battery compartment starts peeling of after a while.Have seen this with 3 phones in the last 3 months. But otherwise, it is a really wonderful sleek and handy phone.

You phoned your friend and instead of a sound of "ring", it played a song right? It's not a feature of the phone, it's a feature of the network service provider. It's called ringback tunes. =)

My friend has another Motorola that when I ring him it plays a song instead of just the ring sound. Could someone tell me how to put in a song in my KRZR K1. I alrady have loaded MP3s to the phone(I don't need to know how to make it a ring tone).

omigod..thanks vinsanity...i feel really dumb for not finding it out myself...

I used to open the photo first before going to Manage and there's no Rename option there..now i know..thanks again..u've been of great help...

Man this phone is the real shit !! It has the looks, the features and it rocks for its price... seriously ppl should stop complaining about this cell because for the price it is amazing... I love it. im going to stay with this cell phone for one more year. by the way, for the ppl who wants to remane their pics or videos whatever, just plug it into ur cpu and change their name there, its way faster and its easy steps. I dont know how ppl cant manage to figure that out...

i found the Motorola k1 to look good and suit both sex's. It is easy to use and the camera is of reasonable quality. The only thing i think it needs to change is for it to have a stop watch.

this is the best fone l have ever seen l really like it and l love it. lm having a little problem it is reflecting invalid battery and it is not charging what might be problem if l had money l would buy a brand new but l dont have l got it as a gift.

i just bought this phone for $200 and it sucks the camera is good but video isnt it is really blurry

To the people asking about how to change the photo name:

You go to the Multimedia menu-> Pictures then highlight the picture you want to rename. Then press the Options key and find the Manage option-> scroll down a bit to find the RENAME option.

It's not really much of a challenge.
