will have no complains about software of MOTO if they use there new UI (JUIX) that of ROKR E2. Its the best for non smart phone. But if the don't use that then they r stupid guys. And what r MOTO's problem guys? Why it is using 176*220 screen when it used QVGA in ROKR E2? It really sucks man to have such a cool phone with so much volume & just 176*220 screen. And what r there designers doing? They r after miniaturing phones without giving a proper features.I will go for a phone with normal size to some more bulky if it has features & specification 100 out of 100 then for a slim fone with no features. This is some thing really stupid. Why MOTO is paying there desinger & people of R&D section money just for assembling old hardware in new phones. The screen of new phone has 176*220 (65K) colour. Same 1.3 or 2MP Matrix With out optical zoom. Some of them don't have a flash. Just 20 MB onboard memory. If they r not using there R&D section wel then MOTO will b a history in future. I m a fan of Moto. I used some phones of MOTO but now they have starting acting like stupid. Come on guys take some real steps to produce some good phones.

oh here is an example...

"Pirates of carabian-2"..a much hyped movie that made a record amount of money on release..coz every tom-dick and harry went to watch it. was that movie so GREAT. answer is --------------NOO.

Its all about marketing. I would repeat the same line again.

When you see it, you love it the most.
When you own it, you hate it the most.

Thats what moto is.

How could a 176x220 65k color screen be "High resolution" as the other posting says??
It has a glossy surface and that makes it a Finger print/dust catcher.

They have sold 50 million V3, true..any idea how many of them being send back to service center? I believe they have made a record there as well.LOL

Frankly that "waoo" factor doesn't work for rarz type designs any more.

From the companies stand point they have captured a major segment of the market with
little R&D.
Yes the point is to make profit and that is thanks to good marketing not good products.
50 million sold, so what, guess you think cocaine is also a great product also cause its profits are in the billions per year...

This phone's beauty cannot be captured in photograph. You have to see it to believe it. The reflective surface is glassy and the phone do not at all look like the RAZR. It has got a very high resolution screen and the Motorola UI has been completely revamped. This phone is a joy just to behold!

Hey listen people
It doesnt matter that you guys are bored by motorolas v3 design , What matters is that motorola has sold more than 50 million of these phone and is making more money than any other poor manufacturer .
That matters .

Moto fans are impressed by shiny and reflective (ft rich, no way) phones.

omg!!! not again~~ moto only knows know to produce v3-style phones??? look at those 4 new phones, just a cracked copy from v3 design. really feel shame bout it. moto is paying high salary for low quality phone desingers. come on, sack all those designer la! bring out some revolutional stuffs if u wan others to support.

i like the v3, so i like the ki, but i m not seeing a biggest difference but the camera, i like the style,is a nice cell, who knows i buy one for me, if i get some money enough....talking about it, how much it costs?

Moto is milking the v3 cow too long now,
this is just a shiny v3 with mediocire fts (polyphonic tones), yes this phone will sell like cocaine to all the mindless "bling-bling" fans...

the resolution of the display is too low. only 65k TFT! c'mon!
it should be 256k TFT like all the other phones.

Look at SE & Nokia ,every phone have full of features but look Motorola ,nothing !!
2 megapixel camera with 20 MB memory !!!?
Seems motorola thinks just about money !!
No 3G,No WLAN,No HSCSD,No Infrared port,65K colors !!!!
shame Motorola !!

On the display:
Well we MIGHT hope that the change from 256K colours to 65K is actually a change to a display that works all year... I use my v3 in the winter only, due to the HOPELESSLY bad display, complettely useless in direct sunshine.
Maybe they learned from Nokia and Samsung that there are people trying to use the phone also in the summer...

On yet another v3 clone:
Well it is 11mm less wide! (On the cost of 2mm in thickness and 5mm in length)
So by this its more a clone of Samsung E870
