Hi...
Could anybody share your experience, whether this mobile generates lots of heat when you are on a call for around 20-30 minutes.
Currently i own a Nokia 3110 C mobile, which is generating lots of heat when you use it for more than 15 minutes.

This phone did everything I wanted ... except keep good time! I bought it early 2009, bit it still had pre-2007 Daylight Saving Time for New Zealand (where I live). The phone changed time back by one hour at 02:00 Sun 15 March 2009. This feature was repeateable by setting time to 14 March, then 01:59 15 March and waiting one minute, both for my phone and one out-of-the-box at the retailer. This behaviour persisted even after sending the phone to be repaired/reflashed with latest software/firmware.

I had this phone for 2 years. First the keypad started locking up/freezing, then the screen started flashing randomly and stripes would go across the page. The battery would die very quickly. This phone cost me a lot in repairs. Eventually moved on.

> In reply to Zen Lui @ 2008-11-22 19:38 from TRZC - click to readThe gifts are supposed to be "free", not US$6!
There are several "chain stores" (not individual small shops) in Mongkok which sell phones...with good discounts and gifts.
If you don't like the price / gift of a shop, all you have to do is:
1)Go to another one with a better deal
2)Go to the original one saying the other shops offer a better deal
That's how the game is played!

In Hong Kong "GOME Electrical Appliances" have special promotion price on K3...at USD$130...no lock, no contract, plus 2GB card. I just purchase one and pay USD$6 more for a welcome gift set contain One spare battery, screen protector and standalone battery charger. Quit a good phone, screen clear and sound wonderful.

Well i receveid mine today, and i must say i´m truly impressed.....My previous phone was a BenQ-Siemens S88, and changing to this, first impression....It´s fast...
Nice screen, with very rich detail, such as sound quality, loud and clear.
All features work nice, and it has a touch of quality in your hands, like if you´re holding high end class phone of 500€ or more...
I still haven´t discovered many flaws, i´m still exploring it, but so far i´ll give 10 out of 10!
It´s a shame that the camera miss a flash light, which was very usefull as tourch light or to snap pics in the dark....Thats the only thing i miss from BQ S88......

USD$160 for a 3G HSDPA phone with 2GB card is quite a deal, even nowadays with those so call "new" phones.
A new Moto VE538 costs slightly more than K3 in HK, though other than the 4GB external memory support, I don't see much reason to get a "new" VE538 over a K3.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-22 18:04 from P9x3 - click to readDue to the slightly longer dimension, I "feel" the keypad and internal monitor are slightly better than K1.
Otherwise it depends if you need 3.5G.
I bought a K1 around May for US$128 (unlock no contract) as a backup / travel (especially to US which needs GSM850) and my wife is using K3
