There are only two ways to adjust volujme in Moto phones:
1) using the volume key on the left edge of the phone.
2) For phones that do not have volume key, left right navigation key doubles up as volume key while in a call.

Just bought this phone a week ago from Malaysia for around AU290 (Dec 05) Extremely happy with it. Pros: you can charge it through the computer, super slim, looks great, not a flip (could also be a con depending on ur preference). Cons: so slim i get cramps after writing like 3 smses, lags a tiny bit, no voice recorder(the only serious con), video is poor, camera is average (who uses a camera phone to take real pics anyway, i use my pentax camera which is conveniently in my other pocket), speakerphone a bit loud not sure how to turn down yet... would definitely recommend it if u dont need a megapixel camera. at the moment its unique, looks great and cheap.

Don't know why it is so cheap. Have just received my phone from Virgin Mobile exactly 24 hours after ordering it online, talk about service. Have been playing with it, quite a few menus to get through and can be a bit complicated, but not to bad. Manual is not great, come on Motorola there really is no excuse. Phone seems nice, have to wait and see how it holds up, am hoping that reliability is good, seems well built.

Waiting for it to be delivered, so I don't know if its any good yet, but have tried it in the store and it was very thin.
Bought it online for £79.99 including £30 airtime from Virgin Mobile, so basically I paid £50 for it. Can't think of anything better for £50, can you? (It would normally be £89.99 on Virgin Mobile, but I am a customer already so get a £10 discount as I don't need a new Sim). Have to wait and see if its any good..........

The L6 is a great phone, dont get me wrong. but there isnt enough memory, and you dont get a USB link with it. but if you buy a bluetooth USB you can just put small amounts of stuff on it but save the rest on your PC. the camera is high quality the only real problems ive found with it is the battery runs out fairly quickly. the longest it has stayed on is 3 hours. And there is no keypad lock.

Got the motorola L6 for Christmas. Overall I think it's a great phone although I think that the buttons are a bit too skinny and so I sometimes press more than one button when texting. Also the buttons are quite hard to press, though I think you would get used to it. The other problems (dunno if it's just my phone) are that I can't set picture IDs, in the instructions it says to go to phonebook, then edit, then picture, but my phone doesn't give an option of picture! So...anyone else had this problem?! Also my screensaver isn't working, I set a picture but it doesn't come up, it just goes black. Again, anyone else had this problem?
Oh and it didn't come with a USB cable, dunno if you can use just any old one!
But anyway, it is a great phone and does do all the important things!

I used to have this phone, you can bye the mini usb cable in any cellphone store, and to used it with your PC, you have ti install de software that comes with the v3, and configured it as if you are conecting a v3, cause the v6 isn't already included in the software.
