Milestone Overclock works fine , increased the Speed to 1 ghz of xt720 , and skype video not working yet tried 100 ways,will motorola lauch 2.2 or 2.3 or 2.4 or 2.5 or stop milestone production ? , It must be a good phone when dated 10 years back , but not now.

i believe when anybody buy a smart phone , it suppose to give a technology not a camera, XT720 is a camera containing smart phone, no update??? no market??? no apps??? no android??? whats a device,,, extremely uslesssssssssssss , just don't wast your money

This phone is criticized a lot. When i wanted to buy a cell i read this phone's reviews here which were in fact very, misleading. I figured this out because i still bought this phone after reading all the bad comments here. People usually dont know much about mobile phones. First of all, do not install alternate useless ROMS on this phone all of them are glitchy except for dexter's froyo, i've installed a factory ROM and modified it with ICS theme and other tweaks and works great for me. Secondly motorola has made a bit of mistake by fitting a weak processor in this version but this can also be solved quite easily. Just overclock the processor via Milestone Overclock to 800 Mhz, should work fine.
In a nutshell, all you need is a little more knowledge about latest technology and this phone should work great. :)

P.S I would say its a great phone keeping in mind its price, camera, and sound quality. :)

hi i have tried every every thing out so far even cronos of jy daddy with small keyboard;cronos 1.7 of brian lee is better battery life.I think the best one is dexter 2.2 with 0 problem,all other have differents problem.

am using this mobile for 6 months, this is just an awesome handset. gys who making blames are up to them. ur mobile depends with you. and how u handle. the only one disadvantage is i havent got upgrade from motorola. camera quality is supperb.speciall at night. i reccomand this handset.

Works perfest with custom rom CronosX-1.7.0-XT720-J.Y.Daddy-AllNew-V2 @ 1200MHz (android 2.3.7) This rom boots only with boot update update-MilestoneXT720-bootfix-20111005-1154

yes the phone is good and bad mostly good house bound
try the old crapy slow telstra 2007-moto q9~h vs 2010-xt720 cc small bisness word,excel,pics,

LOOK I have 3 of the 720 and all freeze up all the time I lost all my pics and thees are for my business I have talked to my rep for over a year on this issue and keep getting the run around.I have had it way up to the point I will shove all the phones up my reps BUTT at the same time next time he cums into my store.what a piece of shit and all he tells me is I am the only on with this issue B . S .
