Look a prety good phone. The design is exellent, there are "only" 2 cores but its 1.7 GH clock frequency and I saw that the benchmark scrores are very high, so these 2 cores is enoght. Little dissapoiting that the screen is not FULL HD, but I can live with 312ppi. The camera is exellent. The combination of high resolution of 10MP with the ultrapixel technology of HTC is guenies. I expect to see good shots in the review, and that the battery life is high as motorola promise (24 work hours).

It will be a huge disappointment if this Phone does not have at least 4000 mah battery, FM Radio and a Micro SD Card Slot.
dave, 29 Jul 2013pricing rumour doesn't fit that spec, look at htc one mini its spec is not even up to motox n... moreYou make no sense. Look at Nexus 4. Have somehow better specs than this, and still it's a 300 bucks phone.
HTC need to earn money with the phone. Google doesn't. Because they earn money with the Play Store instead.
This supose to be Nexus-like phone. Even like that, I'm sure they can make this rentable, but no over priced like all other phones out there.
first thing how Motorola tell for Moto x phone is 4000 mah battery, and now all motorola fans wait this phone with the 4000mah battery.... !!!!!
i wish that this phone having a 3000+ mah lipo battery and at the price range of $4oo to $450 and this would be perfect.. because this is handy.. i will love this
everyone with the negative comments on the specs and comparing to the xperia z ultra 1. its a midrange phone there not claiming it to be a flagship and its not a phablet 2. for $300 how the hell can you complain about the specs , this will be scoring 9k in quadrant and a easy 18k in antutu , not to mention having a pretty great camera if they can actually record 1080p at 60fps , good jog google/motorola

I find a mobile phone with a screen past 4 inches too big, the bezel on this model helps but still too big.
If the price is right this might be a great phone though. Not going to be sold in my country though. Sadly Motorola phones are not sold here.
mas39, 25 Jul 2013What a joke, everyone calling this a game changer, the Sony Z Ultra, now that's a game changer... moreNote 3 is better, I dare to tell this, even if it's not announced yet! :P Xperia Z Ultra is too big, and it lacks an LED Flash.
Teehee, 25 Jul 2013No flash! *cough* *cough*what's os in smartphone have flash support any way? how many web pages still in flash any way?
This is the phone we all should buy, to show everybody else how the things have to be done.
pricing rumors seem: reasonable with 300 dollars from the 16 gb model and 350 for the 32 gb model (without contract). Nowadays people are making phones bigger and bigger but it seems to me that this phone is going to feel just good in the pocket.
So not too big and neither too expensive with a great interface... Whats not to like? apart from the rumors that said incredible features would come to the phone but you just end up with a well- specced mid-range phone.
I'll admit i was expecting a bit more but at this price this is an interesting device.
mas39, 25 Jul 2013What a joke, everyone calling this a game changer, the Sony Z Ultra, now that's a game changer... moreYou're comparing oranges and apples. Xperia Z Ultra is a high-end phablet (costing 700 EUR), while Moto X is going to be a mid-end smartphone (will cost around 300 EUR). Why do you need a 2.2GHz quad-core processor? The only thing that comes to my mind is playing games, but if you want to play games buy a computer or a console, not a phone.
