why the trend towards bigger phones? The original motor x size was perfect..the "sweet spot" of large enough screen and ease of one handed use. Now this one at 72.4 width is simply two wide for one hand and also the motorola dimple is too big it makes it look cheap and unrefined
Now i am anti moto. Makes no sense. 2300 mah is just not going to compete with a 3000+ mah battery that others have. Calling it tech is stupid advertising. Tell us what and how much is the difference.
Remember: Motorola Moto X (2014) use nearly pure Google UI. Is very different than Samsung use UI TouchWiz or HTC use Sense UI. Also Motorola Moblity already modify AMOLED to make not wasteful electricity.
No need big capacity battery because Motorola Moto X with Motorola Technology can maximize battery. Thats technology.
the moto x 2nd gen has a good spec but battery backup its very bad only 2300mah.... atleast the battery backup want to give 3000mah r 3100mah its gud .... y means in the spec there is 2gb ram nd 4k video recording nd high display pixel density so 2300 mah battery is too bad ........... nd there is no memory card slot so please provide memory card slot

Deepu Sharma, 07 Sep 2014No memory card slot provided why ???Motorola is still a stubborn company. They don't want to listen to customers. They just put bullets in there head. I was planning to buy. Now forget about it.
Why are the phones getting better and bigger and batteries smaller?
Is the technology really improving or the companies want us to start using Power banks/portable chargers too now made by them or their so called competitors?
they should produce version of it with 4.7" screen ... why do they ignore the customers that prefer the small screens ?!!

Moto phones all with bad battery life. 2300Amp for power hogger super amoled screen is not at all enough. The battery will not even last for a day or max 3-4 hrs of active usage.
