I use this phone as a wake up alarm. I like that the ink screen continuously displays the hour - it doesn't turn off, the hour is shown at any moment without touching any button. That's cool and it doesn't consume energy to keep the display on all the time because of the ink display type.
As for a cell phone, the only usage was to make calls because texting was too complicated.
There is one of these phones in my house, was not used in 4 years. I buy a new SIM card and the phone worked 20 days, this morning I was adding my own number to the directory, the directory symbol was not working so i pressed a lot the red button to try again, after that the "x error symbol" has appeared and now I can't receive calls or make calls, I have tried everything, reset, the codes of the manual. And nothing has worked, there is no signal in this phone. It recognizes the SIM card, I can see my phone numbers. Any ideas? I'm thinking of destroying this thing with a hammer.

It makes calls,receives calls,takes voice mail messages,allows text messaging,has a phone book.
That's all folks. But,hey if that's all you want, then this is a great little phone. Its not pretentious.
Anonymous, 28 Jan 2015I have been searching for one for ages, any chance you'd be willing to sell? There are lot of F3's for sale on online auctions. I found one for the replacement of the one I dropped accidentally in sea. Unfortunately, the one I had was equipped with Scandinavian languages and probably would never find a one with those. English is available on all, so that is just a minor matter.

Once it picked up a signal in the middle of a forest where everyone else was cut off. Got it as a present. Keeping it in case of a war. :-D
How Much Time(Hours) Would The Battery Needs To Be Charged Completely(Fully Charged)?
I pulled this phone from the bottom of a box of gear that I've had for years. The apps I downloaded send all kinds about me of stuff to people I don't know. Gov't is bad enough but at least w/this phone only the phone co. and the gov't OVERTLY have my information. Plus, the battery lasts forever, it's light as a feather, it picks up a signal in the middle of nowhere, it sends and receives texts but I CAN'T text and drive, which is a great thing. And I figured out how to send and receive emails with it. TELLME is good as Google, my voicemail is my voice memo app, and with AudioNow, I can hear radio on my phone. I'm good.
