Hi,
I had posted a comment about this phone abou six month ago when I bought it and I was saying hoe pleased I am of it. Well, I am not any more. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It sucks. People call me and although it has a signal, it is open and it is charged, it says that the phone is turned off or has no signal. This is not a network error because I have checked. It is a problem of the phone which can't be solved. This is just one of the problems however. It turns itself off, it resets itself and many other....

i am having a problem i cannot get the computer to recognize the phone? Ive tried everything idk what to do? does anyone know if this phone will work with mobile phone tools?

hey everyone i just got the mpx220 and its an amazing phone. does anyone know how upgrade the phone??? i cant seem to download any movies on the phone or clip of any sorts. can anyone help???

mpx220 is a great phone for those who dont do alot of work on it. it wouldn't crash or freez if you do one thing at a time. It holds miniSD (512 MB max), and i've heard ppl use up to 1GB. Its got greaty video play quality, infact I have downloaded my music videos .wmv, the quality impresses everyone. i got to say, motorola has the worst camera ever. HORRIBLE. however, better than nothing.
lets not forget, mpx220 is a flip phone that can be used as a PDA & i dont think u got many choices if you want PDA as a flip phone with Windows Mobiel (to syncronize with ur pc). anyways, its a great phone but i would not use it for sendin e-mail or so.. cuz would take long time to type. but great if u wanna have as a side PDA & just check e-mails or to do little synchronize.
by the way, 4 those who have battery or chargin problems!.. Motorola is known for that, so dont be surprised. Mine doesn't charge anymore & i've been using it 4 a year. I have to say, I abuse this phone, almost never turn it off & droped it many many times. Luckly i still have warranty.
I hope motorola releases newer mpx with touch screen & higher Ram.

how can i flash the phone with rom 1.49 or 1.53 asian to get wmp 10 and how can it be configured to play all *.wav files. it plays some of them. also any s/w which can be installed to play *.acc or *.ogg or real media files.

i just bought this mpx220 a month before thru indiatimes.com phone is very good fuctions also good but its going hang continusly and i replaced the same with new piece then also same problem my best suggestion not go for motorola choose nokia because in india motorola is not taking responsibily of mpx 220

Its a pretty cool phone but I needed mines repaired after only having it 6mos. I sent it do Motorola and they told me since I live in the US and the phone was not from the US they couldnt work on it. They did tell I could buy a used phone from them I was like no thank you. So no more motorola for me

this phone is awesome. i have it for one month and it works great. i flashed it with newer and better version of rom 1.49 and now its perfect. bt, ir, mms, e-mail... wokrs with no problems. i recomed flashing it with rom 1.49 or 1.53 asian (this one has wmp10). as for reseting your phone you can do it by turning it off first and then press the blue button, hold it and then turn on the phone. you will lose all the info. hope it helps.

I can confirm that email does not work with Cingular. It will work for 1 day 100%, then slowly start phazing out. Memory is bad, but the size is nice. I would not recommend it as it can not deliver on Email.
