I have not had any major issues with the photon. Your battery will drain down quickly when doing a lot of downloading but for the most part it has been a pretty durable phone.

Nice Phone,17500/- in India, 3D games are playng very smooth , only problem is USSD code will not work .

i trying to use this phone in nepal but they not show network i did unlock too but its always show no network available n wi-fi also not work in nepal but when i m in us its all work what happen?>

i just got this phone for 100usd here in japan from shop with no contract (not from telco).unlocked it online for 5 euros, then flashed with sprint rom.. and it is a powerful phone for a very very good price.. love it.. and did cost me much..

Hi, i am getting this notification " Error V08 messages will be delivered after data services become available" and also another notification which says "1 undelievered mesage( this is voicemail activation msg)" and obviously it will never be delivered because i am in india. Both these notifications are related to voicemail and appear frequently after the phone is switched on for some time and i am not able to stop these notifications. Is anybody else having this problem? i know i can root the phone and delete the system app voice mail but i am looking for alternate solutions, though going to manage apps - voicemail and clearing data helps get rid of the problem temporarily but it comes back after restarting.. so guys ..any suggestions?

Unlike lazy MOTOROLA, its rival LG will update their dual core LG Optimus 2X handset which is very similar to Photon 4G to ICS, without any excuses !!!

I recently brought this phone. And is really good specks and hardware and is fast. What makes me off is,

1) USSD codes dont work. So I cant check my prepaid balance
2) I am with new update (2.3.5) from motorola and there is no way to unlock its bootloader (F U motorola!).i.e, I cant install other ROMS.
3)Still no ICS or JB update

Only buy if android version is 2.3.4 which is unlockable but still no USSD.

If you are a CDMA user or postpaid GSM user simply go for it.
