I think it's better without the 3g, because it may cost much!
Just my opinion though, can't wait to buy one of them

people didn't like it because it does not have 3G .-. in my opinion, it's the best moto that exists. it's fits in what i need: wi-fi, qwerty keyboard and nice display (it doesnt need to be an xperia to have a great display). and it does have office document viewer and editor ;)

This phone has a full qwerty keyboard for no good reason cause it does not supprot documents and adobe files, just the internet so its poor in functionality when it comes to an alrounded phone
otherwise its good.
===========================================================
Hahaha... Motorola Q11 is not in the market yet so how you know a full qwerty keyboard for no good reason. The fact is Motorola Q9 the most comfortable a full qwerty keyboard in that's era.
Are you sure not support documents? The fact is my Motorola Q9M has Documents To Go (has PDF To Go, Sheet To Go (you can read or edit or make Excel files), Slideshow To Go (you can use for read or edit or make PowerPoint), Word To Go (you can read or edit or make Word), and Zip To Go (you can extract zip files). Documents To Go is free software, you can download and install to Motorola Q Series (like i am doing to my Motorola Q8). Adobe files? For what? That's not for business phone.

> In reply to Chris @ 2008-11-27 00:13 from LBHTThanks, because I thought most people use mobile phones with qwerty keypad for web browsing or e-mail, instead of trying to type a whole word document with such supersize screen.

> In reply to Mohtashim @ 2008-11-24 18:53 from ixTAI use Motorola Q8 nearly 3 years and Motorola Q9M nearly 2 years. I never have problem like you said. Don't be b u l l s h i t. Motorola Q has OS Windows Mobile. If have problem like you says so other brand who use OS Windows Mobile will have problem like you says. You better shut your mouth if doesn't have fact about your complain.

I'm using Moto Q9H. Everyday I'm crying because it suddenly shuts down and sometime reboots...I have up-to-date software version but I could not find what the problem is with my handset. When I did search over the net I found all the handsets are suffering from this problem. Not sure if Moto has fixed this problem in Q11, otherwise I would say moto should shut their shop and do some other business.
Thanks

Windows Mobile 6.5 leaked + new Internet Explorer in emulator available
November 12, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
First screenshots of Windows Mobile 6.5 available at MotorolaZine.Biz
Note: the new Internet Explorer with desktop-class rendering engine and Flash is coming already in Windows Mobile 6.1.4 and is available in emulator form here, some quotes about it:
Some of the cool features available with Internet Explorer Mobile 6 are:
* Improved fidelity (support for full fidelity desktop rendering)
* Layout fixes to accommodate a mobile screen (text wrap)
* Enhanced Script and AJAX support (Jscript v5.7 from Internet Explorer 8)
* Improved multimedia experience (Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 for Adobe Flash content)
* Deeper integration with search
* Enhanced cursor navigation model
* Touch and gesture support – pan support
* Multiple zoom levels
* Easy switching between mobile / desktop versions of sites by specifying UA strings.
Conclusion: Windows Mobile 6.5 is much more than just new Internet Explorer and our prediction regarding future versions is:
* Windows Mobile 6.1.4 - new Internet Explorer
* Windows Mobile 6.5 - new UI for finger-based navigation and new looks, Skymarket (Windows Mobile application store)
* Windows Mobile 7 - multitouch, Zune software integrated.

1 Who are you? indentify yourself. I suspect you are paid by Motorola to answers and to protect benefit of Motorola
2. Why Motorola drop to second ranking to Samsung in US market?
3 Why Motorla keep maknig product that less and less cutomer would buy?
I am a Motorola diehard, but now I am looking for another brand that will serve my requirement,
Motorola will be GM soon. Keep all products in warehouse becuase customer do not want to buy. Then declare chapter 11.
Good luck and good bye Motorola

Motorola Q11 is for Low End User. Motorola Q next series will release around in the half Q2 of 2009 with OS Windows Mobile 6.5 and Motorola will be the first brand use OS Windows Mobile 6.5. Windows Mobile 6.5 is nearly to be Windows Mobile 7 and of course really different than Windows Mobile 6.1. Motorola Q Next Serie will available to touchscreen like Motorola ZN4 and will be for High End User. About Windows Mobile 6.5 already confirm from Microsoft. That's Windows Mobile 6.5 rumour is begin from Motorola Press Conference.

I like Motorola HP. but the smart phone made by Moto is not smart? From Q9h that has 3G but no Wi Fi. I was waiting for Moto to come up with new smart phone that really smart. Q11 is one step forward but 2-step backward. All persons who uses smart phone are those bussinessmen who are on the move. Moto should not look at US & China market only and leave other market for other vender. Moto should make another version of Q11 that will suite the need of other market such as Eurrope & some asia contries.
I am sure, If Moto will make another version that has every thing on Q11 plus 3G, 16 million color very fat processor, big ram.. it will be the hot smart phone that really smart. If not Moto just watse time to develope phone just for certain market only/
Till new version is available, I will not buy Moto phone
