Phoenix:
I agree with you totally. Buy the V8 just for the looks as everything else is irrelevant.

it seems some of us r just too concerned about the tiny details (vibration and ringer), rather than appreciating it. RAZR2 is just too cool!

A 400 euro phone, in the year 2007, in Europe, without 3G (not to mention HSDPA), with only 512 non-expandable MB of memory, and a camera from the year 2003???
Go sell your phones in Wyoming and the Dakotas, you Motorola morons!!!

Hey, I just got mine 2 days ago. Cost me
3.9 million rupiah.. :)
the upper flip is a bit shaggy but it's all right :)
yup, v8 can't ring & vibrate @ same time... what a shame. but it's ok. i don't really like hearing my phone screaming loud asking me to answer the phone.. hehehhe
over all it’s a good phone for fashion , if u compare the price with functionality u get, u’ll have to consider other phone

The difference is that it vibrates a few times then switches to ring. I work in a nightclub and if the first few vibrations are not felt I will most likely miss the call.

Appreciate if you could enlighten me where is the setting for "vibrate & ring". On my V8 the settings are:
1)Ring Only
2)Vibrate Only
3)Silent
4)Vibrate then Ring.
Thanks so much.

V8 can vibrate, then ring. It can't vibrate and ring. Moto just cannot seem to get everything right.

2GB ver. will be after about 2 months probably due to high quantity of 512 MB chips that M. wants to ged rid of. Also they want to have V8's life cycle to be as long as it can be. Inside V8 there is space for memory card. But there is no chance for using it. Want 3G? Go for V9. :)
