To the gay from the philippines:
RAZR2 V8 is too wide. Id stick with the V6MAXX Ferrari edition, which is better than the RAZR2 V9 and V8, and slightly better materials than the V6 Maxx (without the Ferarri). Believe me you'll get a super wide phone if you invest in the V8 or the 3G V9 phone. The Ferarri V6 MAxx is way better if your into the RAZR series. Im famous so I should know!

xtelle, yea actually i've been checking it out for months now, and finally i saw it in motorola glorietta (makati). they don't have the price yet, but i was told they will release it at the end of the month (latest). well, i sure am wondering if it's worth the buy :)

Ktulu, thanks for the warning.

Attention:
Don't buy from e-buy-global.com !
It's strange that they got mobile phones 70% cheaper, e.g. 8600 Luna - $150. It's that odd, that it doesn't even cover production expenses...
So, my advice: don't even write to them. They aren't really from Italy! Their host is somewhere in Israel! It might aswell be some kid playing around behind his PC, and getting his money off our backs.
When I asked for their company's registration number, business rate, or something like that, the director replied to me they haven't got it for anybody. 'Cause that's something that has to be made public, so anyone may verify it.
Thanks! Bye! P.S.: Please tell others, too!

Yikes,

Same. Mine gets hot very easily when listening to music or talking long on the phone. I am going to correct this problem by getting Motorola miniblue H9 bluetooth headset. This is one of the nicest headsets available and unlike others, fits directly in your ear.

This phone gets HOT!!

I don't know if it's the battery, or the processor heating up, but these things get hot to the touch - particularly when talking for more than 8-10 minutes or listening to music.

Already had the phone exchanged twice because the other two were getting too hot.

for jv.
I think that you would like too a motorizr z6 or a z8 (very similar) and if you like a strong cell you should get a z6.
the v8 is really nice but doesn`t have 3g or expansion slot

The screen is not smaller. It is the same as original but with better resolution.

I am 1 of the user of V8 and i personally find the phone so user friendly. I was holding to V6 and V3xx comparing to the model MOTO had done some correction on the interface already. Anyway looking forward to V9 look cool though is alomost the same.... CHEERS~~~

Correction to my earlier post. Just found the setting to have delivery report permanently switched on. So that is some improvement from their earlier models.

To mastalee:
the internal screen is smaller than the one on the V3. There is a difference between size and resolution... funny that you dont get it. the V3 has a bigger screen but smaller resolution.
