just want to know something abt this phone. I have been a nokia user ever since. For nokia phones, i can create my own folder in the messages section and i am almost unlimited in using the memory for storing other messages and notes. I was wondering if motorola has the same function. Thanks. PS, particularly this phone, coz when available Im planning to get the 2gb model

i hate motorola they suck espcially because of their software, i'm excited about the new razor though its supposed to have different software

for gods sake motorola, stop releasing the same design for phones, no wonder the shares are being reduced, cz no1 wants the same style phone for 5 years !!
come up with somethin new for once. you can "milk" the public of its money and decency for much longer

Heyy all,
just have a few questions bout this fone.
how much is it in Australia and how many messages does it hold.
Also just wanting to kno on the front is the acuall external screen touch or are there buttons like play next forward thanks email me on sam_rulz2223@hotmail.com

Dwarfs it...I don't think so at only 4mm taller that is hardly going to dwarf any thing. Same width, but about 10mm thinner than the N95. Any flip worth having is going to be taller when opened.
Motorola's not going anywhere.
Also to the one mentioning no t-mobile or at&t settings. No unlocked phone has them you (the customer) have to add them.

I saw a RAZR2-dummy too. The design of V8 is much better compare to Nokia N76.

We've just had a dummy of this phone where i work and its HUGE. Just horrible. It dwarfs my N95 which is no easy feat!
Moto are gonna go down the pan this year!

I just sold a Razr2 V8 to a Diehard Moto customer who lost his Razr v6 a week ago. I had to return the 1st one with 10 mins due to white screen and random Phone shutdown. The second one works well but there are no settings for T-mobile or Att. Low built in Memory considring no Memory slot only 512. I would take a V6 razr over the V8 and its $455 dealer cost.

Trust your instincts and don't buy if you suspect anything. Just wait a while longer until it comes out officially and then you can buy it, you never know it might be plagued by software bugs like the Toshiba G900, or then again maybe not!

must be ready for a motorola razr 2 with a chinese keypad so hope you know chinese if not you just lost 500 bucks!!! god job :)

i cant think of a reason why motorola is losing their market share.. actually their phones is best quality of all.. in terms of build quality, sound quality, keypad, and every other external side.. but maybe wad made them lose is because the software...
