okay guys..no point fighting over this....
All i can say about this product is nice and cool design (all V series is cool design) I myself almost tempted for V6 but i called it off, why? Bcoz all Motorola phone always complicated to use with all their iconic menu, they never learn how to make friendly OS and User Interface. My folks got V6 and after few minutes in my hands already gave me headache coz how complicate and unusual menu it had not to mention respond time.
Btw, this RAZR2 V9 used only upgrade "Proprietary Motorola OS" not a Lynux as rumoured before.
So all i can say if u r only looking for a cool design then grab this phone, but for u who looking for easy, friendly user experience, easy navigations than grab Nokia or the upcoming Apple Iphone.

ok to everyone that wants FM... you seriously have to stop. if you dont understand why they put it on cheaper phones then you are dumb.
obviously people with not a lot of money are
going to buy a cheap phone. and if they buy a cheap phone then that means they dont have money to buy other stuff like A2DP compatible headsets. why do you want radio? its dumb.
nokia does it cause their phones are cheap and people still use wires. obviously motorola doesnt like wires. you need to use mototools if you havent. and the V9 is the best phone out in the market. yes there are smartphones and PDAs and all the other "business phones" but motorola incorparates this in a smaller more easier form that is still a phone.
and the 2MP camera is awesome. if you want more then buy a actual expensive camera. remember its a phone. duh. and the price on this will not be a lot because motorola is really pushing this phone. its in every website for all countries of motorola. they didnt even do that with the MAXX V6. tells you a lot.
oh and they are going to also bring out a satalite radio. kind of like XM but motorolas version. the video confrencing is viewed form the external screen using the only camera on the phone. no second camera. why need it when you have to screens? the external screen is bigger than most screens on other phones. haha.
and yes the other OS on razrs were plain but this new one on lynux is incredible.

p.s. never compare other phones to motorola. its just retarded if you do. its like comparing humans (motorola) and bugs (other phones) impossible.

Dear Moto Haters
Motorola phones are the best in the market. i can prove this. someone said that their technology sucks. thats not true because motorola has always had the newest technology in its phones. i have bought 2 motos(2 and 3 years ago) and they are STILL STATE OF THE ART. nokia always makes its phones like big deal, but they suck and always will. if someone needs bricks they can get them off the wall. motos are the most practical, user friendly, full with functions and have the best software, especially the now ones that run on linux, they are unbelievable. ok thats all i have to say for now.

P.S. if you people hate motorola so much, than what are you doing reading and posting comments here. go to nokia and Sony-E.s forums and write whatever you like, because you can never change our mind about MOTOROLA

why moto phones dont have radio function is be-cos most of the time you will listen to your car fm and playing with your phone.
And the 2 meg camera is really on the par with now 3.2 meg in the market. so what else you'll need? big fat phones to show you where you are? forget it! i like this most is that it fits into your jeans just find! ha ha ha!

Yes, force to admit moto need new design! Well builted,but technology sucks if u compare to nokia business phones. They try hard to simplified some actions but the inner computer wants to go faster than you... but in wrong directions you want to go or do!

I dont approved the tone of your answer (somehow childesh) you down below but...i have to admit that motorola its thrue...Motorola`s are more teenages phones Nokia that make more serious phones!!! People who criticised Nokia...its because they had lower types of Nokia phones!

Decent Design with Good Resolution and 45MB Internal memory is OK !!
But Why Isn't there an FM Radio that can stream through Bluetooth ???
And where is the 16M colours that is available in Nokia Phones ??
And 2MP Camera is just not enough !!
Come on Motorola, We want the Features Now And not By 2010!!!
That is Why everybody is Buying NOKIA and SONY ERICCSON

Maybe that's why alot of people buy Motorola, cause they don't need useless fuctions like FM radio.
Motorola's all about creating a personal style, meaning along with it, you'd have your OWN collection of songs instead of listening to what other people broadcast.
Nokia reaches out to various people, so of course they would have such universal technology.
The bluetooth was GREATLY updated by V6, so if this is the next version, I bet this one should have a better compatibility with your favorite headset (mine is the HBH-DS980).

That means that more people WILL buy Motorola phones. They are dependable, don't crash like nokia or freeze like SE does and they have roughly the same features, minus a greater image quality. But 2MP is amazing already.
This isn't dumbstyle either. Touch sensitive front screen? Reading emails and txt msgs without opening the flip? I haven't seen that from Nokia yet. In my opinion, MOTO is pushing how much they can fit into a phone much greater then Nokia has been. Sure all of thsoe other features that Nokia has are great, but MOTO can easily fit it in, though they want every one of their phones to have a personality, thus their names. They don't want each model to be a common thing, they don't want each model to separate themselves by just color like Nokia does. Every other Nokia phone looks the same anyway. Try the new 8600 with the 3220. Minus the slider glass, it looks the same. Pretty poor innovation I would say.
All SE and MOTO phones from 2006 have already the ability to send to multiple users.
I don't see how anyone could compare this to the V3 now. It's changed alot.
Why does everyone expect FM radio from MOTO? It's such of a feature it just downgrades the phone. Motorola's coming out with satellite radio on their newer phones soon anyway.
But this phone will definitely be around 500. If the V6 was around 400(US) then this one with a few greater features in trade with the flash, glass finish and internal camera from the MAXX will still be 450, at the least.
