What made you assume that the phone I'm bashing was bought in a black market? The phone was bought in a legit dealer aka Globe in the Philippines. It even has that hologram sticker on the box. The truth is I'm not bashing it. The phone is cool but it just degraded in less than a year, I'm just telling my experience that's all. And from your name it just says fanboy all over it. Sure we like brands but the moment you can't accept that a brand has been making products that are not high quality and still saying that's not true then you have a problem. Motorola can win me back if and only if they make a quality phone for the average consumer.

Edward, that's the problem with buying from the black market, the risk of getting defective phones. Tell your relatives to buy from authorized dealers next time.

Why bash Moto? You don't even have one.

Maybe you're using a Nokia 636 or some such model and proud of it!

to those who are planning to buy this unit, please reconsider other brands. i had this fone for only 5 months, it suddenly turned off on its own and wen i'm charging it, the charging light is not working too..so guys, i suggest that you consider other brands instead!

I have a brother who owns this. He bought it when it was hot but in less than a year it broke down. What a useless phone. My sister has a motorola phone but not this model but it also broke down in less than a year. And from many other forums that I have read, users are complaining about the short battery life, the rubberized casing easily wearing down, hanging OS, the phone not displaying anything. So motorola phones are bad it's just poor quality overall. There's another thing the design hasn't changed that much at all in the last 3 or more years. That tells you a lot.

what the heck is wrong with motorola?! i liked their phones, but now that i had this phone, im starting to hate 'em. i just bought my phone 2 weeks ago, and now it just passed out. it wont turn on and wont even charge! | hey, i didn't even flash it or play with the phone. i was just texting and calling. and then died?! what the heck.

These phones are full of problems.. Ive had mine replaced 3 times now as the keys lock and you cant phone or text.. cant even phone your network to complain.. I would advise against.

the rubber casing of my phone is being worn out. and there is NO STOCK in all the motorola service centers where im from, i have been calling all of them. whats with motorola?! they make phones but no housing? i got prices of the housing from another place and replacing the whole housing costs half of the price of the original unit. DONT GET A MOTOROLA, it'l only giv u headaches

I had one of these phones for just over 6 months and its been nothing but trouble since new. been away for repairs. Phone still crashes (reboots). It will be the last Motorola I ever own. Used to be a good brand

I have had massive problems with this phone -not charging, new battery dying after 2 hrs with no talk time, won't read software, reset and lost all pictures, bottoming off network about 70% of the time. I had it replaced and the replacement is also defective - third time in for repair within and still no better. I know of 2 other people with similar problems.

I was thinking of replacing my L7i with this or the Razr2 v9 since moto phones price are dropping and I will give the L7i to my sister. So far I only like the v9 because of the new software but I HATE THE KEYPADS and battery life is bad. For the v6maxx, I think the only downside is the old software and the rubberized casing. What do you guys think?

Hey. I have locked my phone with the application lock, and forgotten the pass number. The phone doesn't let me enter my security code either, so if any1 knows how i could unlock it i would be grateful.

Hi :) i wanna know are this v6 is lag/slow in the menu or when running a java application?? Is it true the battery is bad?? And what jack used for this phone for headset, a 2.5mm jack or 3.5mm jack ?? Thx 4 replies my post :)

friend please tell does maxx v6 has option for blocking 'text' messages or 'calls' from specific senders,if so than i will instantly buy this phone,remember i am talking about text messages blocking not about mms blocking from specific sender which option is also in other motorolas
