@ SrFabio

Maxx V6 should be the revolution of V3x, but unfortunately, it doesn't have macro function in it, so taking close up photo is not as good.

Anyone knows if it has Auto-focus or something like that(macro)? The v3x has macro mode shooting so v6 should have it too since it is an "evolution" from v3 series.

I have pretty much tried everything and this phone will not let me privatize my contacts but what is odd is that the features for this function are available in the security section of the phone under settings but it won't allow me to privatize them. Oh well, phone is good other then that for the basic calls and other features that it has. No other major problems as of now.

Orange have obviously messed with the software on the Orange version a little cos my Orange version does not have the Private Number option when you go into edit contacts.

Now i gotta go view dem modding sites to hook it up... damn networks.

To stylinexpat,

You need to edit a contact to make it private. When you edit it, the last option is 'Private: Off'.

Change it to 'on'. It will dissapear. To show it, go into security, click on 'Show Private Entries', (default password is 00000000), and it will appear in your list.

If you get a call, or message, their name still doesnt come up, unless the security setting is on 'show'. To hide private entries you do not need a password.

You can change it, in 'New Passwords'.

Need any help, just e-mail me.

Daniel

OMG!!! What use is a phone with a QVGA screen that doesn't play full screen QVGA videos? It's completely useless. That sucks. So far, I'm glad I haven't bought it yet. Has anyone found a way to hack this?

i know its not xenon, but i did'nt think it was LED either, because i thought LED flashes are like big white bulb but on my maxx, the flash has two small yellow squares in it.
